As a white South African that comes from white trash, when a white person waves their hand admitting they use like they're in Church, they still use and ain't trying to fix shit. They just feel good about themselves saying "I have a problem" like a 5 year old screams that they can tell time at teacher.
Don't come here calling me judgemental, my mom is one of those people and all her slum friends were too. I know what I'm talking about.

@@DHFT147 I'm not 'falling' for anything. From my own experiences i've deducted that they are both definitely struggling, she needs someone to keep her in check, and while the guy has some issues of his own, I don't think he's making up excuses. When you are in an environment like that for so long, your perception shifts, same goes for what you grew up around. While I don't exactly know your perception, I can guarantee it is vastly different from theirs. I agree that weed is a drug, but I can recognize the positive and negative effects it can have on you, depending on how you use it, habits, brain chemistry, etc. He's using it as a dependency to keep him off of hard drugs, which is not particularly good, but it's a step in the right direction. It looks like they are all each other have, and it is good to have a battle buddy to keep you in check.

@@DHFT147 He’s talking about smoking weed and drinking because he has bipolar disorder and presumably no access to treatment. He’s simply doing what he needs to do with what he’s got, but the implication is very heavily that she has an addiction to something a lot more severe and is trying to stop. He didn’t dodge anything, even from how she was acting you can tell she knew her problem was worse. You can argue that he has a problem too, but something tells me it’s not at the top of their priority list currently.

This one sparked a tear. Hits home hard. I’m happy they are making the best of their situations and still seem to be there for eachother. We all need to slow down and respect and put ourselves in eachothers shoes more often. Time and patience can sometimes be all the medicine a loved one needs. Stay strong and safe everyone.💙

Here's two people who need help from a psychologist for addiction (which is classified as a psychological disorder) and bi-polar (as stated by the gentleman), yet South Africa continues to restrict mental health services. There are scores of students fighting hard for their chance to enter the field, but we are only allowed to accept approximately 8 students a year! Yet, there is a shortage of psychologists in hospitals and schools 😢

The amount of times people assume I'm a black poor south African who lives in a hut when I tell people I'm from South Africa when playing video games. I've heard those comments nearly every day. Get a grip. Search up south Africa poverty and you'll instantly find black poverty. Stop victimising our country for us. We don't need it. We're all struggling
