- In this video, I will explore the psychology of the subjective and objective nature of consciousness. The EGO and Self are terms used by Carl Jung to grasp the reality of the psyche... a space which still stumps scientists today.
Most individuals, whether it is the scientist or the seeker, becomes fixated on the EGO and its world in creation. BUT, the other side, the spirit which provides life its life, is left for the few.
These are the mystics, philosophers, spiritual and religious types. Those who do not "fit in the system of the world".
So, I took a solo trip for a week into the wilderness in Maine (Acadia National Park) in order to put thoughts down on the reality of consciousness.
The duality and its oneness. The whole that it is.
In this video I'll explore the Jungian terms, EGO and Self, as well as the complexes and archetypes consciousness orders itself through. We'll also look at the 'medium' who is affected by the Self and EGO, as well as affects the EGO. Finally, I'll explain why a fall for the EGO, and not DEATH, is the way to any sense of awakening or enlightenment.
At the end of the video, I'm curious to your answer to this question...
Is the structure of our world providing consciousness the means to unfold its innate intelligence, that same intelligence in us all that gives life its life?

Excellent video. I am still watching it, but have a question on the quote you brought up from the Mysterium Conjunctionis....Jung brings up Maier ? with this way he suggests a meditant to experience empirical ego just as it is. Is it akin Peter Kingsley's "common sense" practice from the Reality?
We won't really ever know who we truly are until that very last moment when it no longer matters who we are.!. We are the sum of all the interactions taking place within our entire mechanism. Every man and every woman is a galaxy. We all attract and repel other bodies and we move in our own orbit and axis. We are the center of our personal universe.
We can awaken to who we truly are at any moment.
We can access that state during altered states of consciousness and NDEs

This truly moved me to tears. The revelations that i know to be true you put into words that give old understanding new breath and fresh sight. I felt as if i was learning about the self, Ego, consciousness, and the unconscious for the first time again.
With that i have a new understanding of how the Ego and all that birth out of it starts in the formless potential of the self which pulls from the collective unconscious. Which for me only again strengths the notion that we are all formless potential energy until differentiation(Ego) takes its shape.

Excellent work ! Thank you ! I often read Jungs work , and this video is didactic. I know there will come a day when all children will learn this in school. So that humanity will be able to deal better with personal and collective unconscious.

🙏 That’s been something on my mind lately actually. We learn how many generals killed how many people and where these murders take place. But, consciousness? Even just the power of breathing. This may be something I begin to pursue in the future.
Not that we need to drill children about individuation, but simple topics like the conscious EGO and unconscious soul or just conscious mind and unconscious mind will help shift the entire world.
Because all of our issue in this world only stem on one word… ignorance.
But hey, the more ignorant an individual, the easier it is for the less ignorant to move them. 🙄

One of your best vids yet . Sorry I missed you back a few months ago but something came up and I was unable to do the live feed . Your illustrations especially with the bow was an excellent visual demonstration of the unconscious penetrating and disappearing into itself. I think many who study this work of Carl Jung will use it again in the future. I think when a person begins to awaken they may go through a phase of reflection before they capture the arrows of the soul . I’ve definitely experienced the union of souls before and thus have a reference to work on but I’ll have to say this is a work and one that for me I must practice all the time in order to grow . I’ve always said a part of me had to die which was the ego conscious in order for a new one to be born . In other words the illusion of self which I identified as me was an abstract character or personality that was a faulty construct. Once I was outside of it and was able to see it at is it was I was given an opportunity to grow a new one based off of that separation from it . These days I’m continually either reflecting or catching arrows all the time and building the character or person God intended me to be . Again thanks for the great work and video. Maine is an amazing place I have to go back there someday soon .

I do share these videos and I do think some of my friends do watch. Every once in a while they surprise me with something related. Ironically I’m a Destiny 2 player and this season we’re getting a new Bow exotic weapon that sends out these strands that entrap enemies. I listened to this while on a hike. I had to stop several times to cry and then to scream. I have been reading a lot of Jung lately and this video pulled a lot of it together. I can’t say thank you enough for this video, I feel it at a cellular level and it is calling me to a journey I have long put off. But as you said our modern way of life is a propaganda and is only good at making one sick. With as much as your channel has helped me discover I say to you at 4:05 you mention how this video will be different but under the same material; unless you are wanton of your artificial and automatic side of yourself every piece of work should feel different from the last, unless maybe a series is compiled, but even then, to not feel apprehension over, even something as small as releasing a new video, you've lost to your artificial side and will become predictable. Hello Joseph , I had a very similar experience , like 40 years ago. I was driving 60 miles an hour in a French freeway and suddenly , I lost control ( it was about 3 Am in the morning. )I remember the car going out , I told the passengers of the cars , we are going to die and suddenly everything slow dow and after a brief moment , we end up like nothing happen !
The three of us remember it but cannot understand what happen that night ? When I tell that story , nobody really believe me !
I watched your video on stillness and I am hooked.
I had a profound epiphany.
Shortly after graduation, in 1981, I was driving to work for my 7am to 3pm shift.
I was approaching an intersection that was about 2 blocks before my place of work.
As I was nearing the intersection the stoplight turned from red to green and I proceeded at the speed limit of 45mph.
As I was entering the intersection a semi truck was approaching the intersection from my right and he was making a rolling illegal RH turn on red from his direction.
I remember now how time seemed to slow down as I realized then the truck was going to plow into my passenger side as I remember thinking if I went straight I'd get the full force of the truck and be t-boned, but if I swerved more to my left I'd get hit by oncoming traffic, so I decided to get as far over in the left lane and hit the divider potentially.
Time truly seemed to slow down, but I remember now debating which course of action to take.
So the semi did hit me hard in the front fender/nose on the passenger side as I came to an abrupt stop even though I was slowing down while I entered the intersection.
And I remember sitting there after the car came to a standstill.
There was a lot of traffic and yet nobody stopped to help, but someone called 911 as the police showed up.
Statements made, but my car was totaled, undriveable, and a police officer drove me to my dad's job about 10 minutes away.
Of course the truck driver blamed me.
But thankfully I had a car that was pretty well built with a heavy metal frame (1973 Dodge Charger) or I could have been hurt worse.
As it was just a case of body soreness that lasted a few days afterwards.
I didn't realize it then, but only now all these years later after hearing your account was I able to actually make the connections as I experienced something so similar.
My Soul was actually in charge, not me, I was just a witness watching it play out and I was only along for the ride.
But I know now I was being protected.
I am truly, profoundly, amazed....

Self = Being aware of being aware.
That which is/That I am.
I am something, I am nothing, I am everything.
We are Life at Large, experiencing itself as all of us simultaneously. Therefore, we are all It to an unknowable/inexhaustible extent, as the facets of a Diamond are 'both' distinct from each other 'and' the Diamond itself.
Love is the recognition of our shared Being.
Be still and know that I am, you are, we are Life.
Soul = Integrated Psyche:
Mind = Inspiration
Heart = Aspiration
Will = Volition
Integration = Integrity = Soul
When the Heart aspires, the Mind inquires and the Will conspires (combines).
The abstract Heaven) called Love can be expressed concretely (Earth) as a smile, hug, etc, thereby uniting Heaven and Earth.
It is interesting that you talked about an intelligence in us, that's exactly what I thought about when I realized when I saw angel numbers and synchronicities, I was not looking for them consciously but something was making me look at these signs subconsciously like making me look at the clock or TV only to see an angel number when I felt it was purely subconscious almost like when you hear something that gets your attention and you look, that's what happens when I see angel numbers, something just makes me look as if I heard something when in fact I heard nothing
I’m not sure where “kill the ego” comes from? The I thought is a direct path to the source. It’s like putting the cart before the horse. Or pushing out on a door that opens in.

Do you think consciousness is based on fear and pain? It’s hard for me to believe that separation is the birth of consciousness instead of togetherness.
So it’s pretty clear this struck a nerve with me. I guess I’m not sure what divides the reality of awareness and consciousness. Is consciousness a further splitting of true reality down which we sail our ego? Where would awareness begin if we have a definition for the beginning of consciousness?
Consciousness is differentiation. There is no consciousness without duality, yet consciousness as a whole is both sides of the poles. So, looking at the whole of it, yes it’s togetherness. But when you look at what makes up the whole of consciousness, there are parts/separation. It’s a paradox, which is why Jung relied on the alchemists who pursued the paradoxical and not scientists who use logic.
@@HumbleUMedia for me, its identity which has the 'difference' in it. Consciousness does realize things undiscovered, but when it finds them, do yo think its more of an acceptance? Like, consciousness being an overall sense of unity while identity is differentiation?

I doubt you use your normal voice. But the way you act your voice is cool. But remember that, after some time it will get boring for your audience. So, try to speak in your normal voice without putting an act. Your content is good but the voice acting, gets boring after some time
