I never been to puebla.. but its good that you show us a bit of what's out there.. also it was good that you went before it becomes super touristy... Because many ppl have also been saying for the past 2 years how underrated it is.. my gut tells me 5 years from now or less is gonna be like San Miguel de Allende.. which is a super Nice beautiful town But super touristy and expensive now since you see 80 percent of tourists and 20 percent locals now
So glad you liked our city. Puebla might not be as famous as other Mexican cities, but it has its own charm I live here and I didn't even know that there was an amusement park in parque ecológico 😅 now that I know I will definitely go and check it out Have a lovely day 👍🏻
It is a very important city. the name is Puebla de Zaragoza, not Puebla, Puebla is the state. It was the most developed city and region in the viceroyalty, the vast majority of the industry was in that area until the last century (except for mining), it competed in everything with Mexico City (just look at its historic center, which is a World Heritage Site). It is the city with the most monuments in Mexico, the cradle of New Spanish baroque, its Talavera is a World Heritage Site. It has the oldest theater and library in America, birthplace of great dishes such as tacos al pastor, chiles en nogada, mole, tinga, cemitas, rompope, it was the first region in Mexico where wine, cider, etc. were planted It is a heroic city 4 times, it was besieged by the United States army for 28 days in 1847. Scene of the Puebla battle of 1862 It was besieged and almost destroyed by the French army in 1863 The city was liberated from the French army in 1867 In 1910 it was the birthplace of the Mexican revolution with the Serdan brothers. Since pre-Hispanic times in this region it has been important, here were the conquerors who defeated and destroyed the Aztecs, (Tlaxcaltecas, Totonacs, Choluletecas, Huejotzincas and Castellanos) ( la calle de los dulces sell poblanos sweets not mexicans) ja In Mexico there is no city with the history of Puebla de Zaragoza
underestimated??!! Puebla City receives between 1 and 2 million tourists per year and the hole state receives between 4 and 5 millions per yese …. which is the same as Peru receives... for example... and according to information from DATATUR (the office that archives the official statistics of tourist activity in Mexico) between 2014 and 2024... for 7 consecutive years and then in 2023 ... Puebla was again the most visited destination without a beach in Mexico (not counting CDMX, which receives visitors who have other objectives and not just tourism... Puebla is the most historic city in the country only behind CDMX and is the birthplace of the two dishes labeled "national": mole (poblano) and chile en nogada and if you are American... You've probably heard of May 5th.. well... that celebration is due to the defeat of the French army in the "battle of Puebla" on May 5, 1862...
Oh too bad she missed out on the most incredible things that Puebla has to offer!!! The biggest pyramid in the world by volume is in Puebla! Puebla is also the home of Val'Quirico, a breathtaking spectacular Italian town. La Estrella de Puebla is one of Latin america’s largest ferris wheel with an amazing view of the modern side of the city. She also missed out on Puebla’s fort! It’s called Fuertes de Loreto. And she missed out on Puebla’s aerial tram. She could have also taken a meal at one of the many rooftop restaurants in nearby Chulula with the view of one of the biggest active volcanoes on the planet!!!!! Basically she just went to old downtown and took a short walk and left 😂. She should have called me LOL
Puebla has a population of over 4 MILLION people. How did you manage to avoid filming them. Yes, I live here and NO, the census isn't accurate. Also, How did you get the streets to be void of cars. Traffic here is insane!
Mexico is one of the most beautiful countries in the world and definitely the best one in Latin America!
