Aww sorry for the rude comments, you and your friends seem very genuine and sweet. Kpop and BTS fans in general are usually sensitive is because we endure a lot of ignorant insults and outright racism about our boys from people over many years. And they tend to be the same ignorant thing over and over again - why do these Asians look the same, why do they look so gay wearing make up, they all look like girls, calling them Chinese men etc. It's fine not to like Kpop, but at least be respectful and appreciative of all the hard work, talent and craft that goes into everything they put in, you know? So yes, we tend to be triggered easily, but like I said you guys seem truly interested and respectful and that's all we can ask for, we're a passionate fandom and love to support the real fans.....so keep doing what you do, it's very enjoyable and fun to watch!

And people like you are the reason we keep trying and realizing we aren't perfect and we learn as we go. They practice at least 6 hours a day. That's why they're so good. If they're preparing for a live show, then they're more than likely dancing 10+ hours a day.
I would tell you the same thing I would hope for BTS, don't change your style to suit other people. If English is the language you think in, then its the one you will write best in. HOWEVER, it would be super dope if you incorporated commonly used Korean words into your lyrics. Like, things that english speakers who are fans of Kpop would know what they mean.
Yeah I don't want to ENTIRELY change my style, I think it's more about expressing where I am now in my life. And KPOP is starting to grow on me haha. That's what I was thinking. Having common words in there for the chorus, and simple words in there.
There are channels like Army Unnie and Bangtan subs that translate all BTS related videos like Bangtan bombs, twitter updates etc..you can check those out in future for better understanding ^_^

I will share with you some tips - BTS have such a big fandom that basically every content that they share is translated to English in few hours. You can type "whateverbtsposted Eng Sub" and you'll find the translation. (It's also true for every other considerably popular kpop group or artist.) Useful YT channels: BANGTANTV - their oficial channel Bangtan Subs - the best fan translations because they provide the explanations for jokes and context for cultural/social mentions (and that's why they take longest to post bc they also edit their vids really neatly) Peppy Grace Subs - she makes fast af translations ARMY Unnie - she translates different kinds of vids but some of them are hosted on other platforms For Tumblr or Twitter I reccomend Bangtan Translations (twt @BTS_Trans ; Tumblr bts-trans) it's the same team that does the Subs but they post there new photos, articles and twitter updates (BTS shares one twitter account). There is also additional Tumblr blog bangtanvideo containing links to basically every video material BTS appeared in. Type of content BTS posts on their YT: Bangtan Bombs - basically anything from birthday videos to "making of", mostly glimpses behind the scenes and boys joking/being dorks Episodes - longer vids documenting bigger events like trips to award shows Dance Practice - clean and final versions of their choreography filmed from steady perspective Teasers, Trailers, Intros, Short Films - large part of their music videos and album concepts share one narrative so together they tell a story if watched in certain order
