      Considering there is a law that says banks have to deposit a certain amount of money from a check within a couple days this statement makes no sense . It takes them a week or more to verify a check once it’s accepted and as long as you use magnetic ink and real account /routing numbers the checks will clear before they figure out it’s not legit .

      It was all a lie he stole from his own father, and a couple he conned, he only stole $1500 from delta, and he was serving stretches in prison from 16-20 and inbetween living with his dad who very much did see him after he turned 16.

    He didn't run away without any money, but had some money already accumulated & saved in a bank account from his work in the previous summer's and therefore didn't need to forge any checks. But later kept writing them even when they already had no coverage.

    He surved stretches in prison from 16-20, he has admitted this urselves if you look. He also stole the equivalent of $33,000 from his father and saw him after he turned 16 as he still lived with him. This has all been proven with franks excuse that his book and film where written by there interpretations of what he did.
