Working in movies and TV for years, I never had the chance to authentically express my emotions in front of the camera until my debut as a theater actor in the production “ Last Out.” The play, deeply connected to my feelings, brought tears to my eyes during the performance. I owe a special thanks to
“Last Out,” a project led by Army Lieutenant Colonel Scott Mann ,Author of the book “Operation Pineapple Express”
and Ruta Script for creating a script that not only captivated me but also delved into the emotions of Afghan people and the American military’s 20 years in a war zone. After a quarter-century in the industry, this theatrical experience allowed me to break down emotional barriers and share my feelings as the dialogue unfolded. I am sincerely grateful to Lieutenant Colonel Scott Mann for providing me with the opportunity to step into theater with zero prior experience and allowing me to convey my emotions in a way that profoundly impacted me.
