Where is the ending of the video?

Thank you for your comment :). I try to record my repairs daily, so I can't edit them and if I've got any problems, will go the way they are like here. I'm doing it mainly for customers to see what I've done with their stuff. Just by the way.
So, part 3 wasn't needed, but I did explain it in the next few days about it. The customer picked up that TV I think the same day.

at 3:45min please see that I'm pointing to one clear tape. I've placed this tape and removed a short. I see that this video has no sound as well, sorry for that. I can't do 100% all the time.

and customer did not want to chase what's causing the short, or to fix it. Once I've told him that it is working, he asked if it's safe to use and asked to put it back together. That's it.

OK, so you used tape.... How many pins did you block? On one side or do you need to block the same on the other side? Such a shame to have to watch 2 videos to only get the end of the story cut short, so disappointing considering I have the exact same problem.

I did what I could to show what I understand on that time. It was for me a LONG time ago ;). And, as you can see, this is not a huge YT channel. So, why expect TOP-NOTCH quality?
I do cause I can, and you can either watch or don't ;). As simple as that.
As per how many pins, this depends on each problem. There are a number of signals in the LVDS connection, so, if in my case these were pins A, B, and C, in your one can be another fault, but the same outcome and different pins ;).
If you'd like to understand the pin out, I can say a good luck. The best way is to try and error in this case. But hey, that's my opinion ;) and you know, it's a small YT channel ;), maybe some better/bigger one can explain it better to you ;).

    Part 3? Please!

Sorry, don't remember if there was a 3rd part. But, I did not remove this video cause it was a fix at the end.
I can't even record it because the customer took it back from what I remember.
Sorry, too many repairs and quite easily I can loose some recording. I can't even record everything to be true.

Have checked the comments for you and I've only explained several days later on one recording that all went fine after applying this tape.

@@screen-protector Thanks for the quick reply! "one recording that all went fine after applying this tape."
Where should this tape be placed? How many pins should be covered? Thanks :)

@@intuicio It depends on those blocked signals to be true. You'd have to learn about all the signals in the LVDS connector and than you'll see that it will very from model to model :).
So, even if my one will work like a charm, your one might be completely opposite :). Or, if the same place, a different amount of blocked pins.
Hope that clears it properly this time? :)

Hello I have the same model LG 55UK6950PLB and the same issue, I went to the LG store and get it fixed there but there is one problem I have an issue at the bottom of the screen, there is a bright spot in the bottom after I get it fixed. is it an easy fix.
Can you please reply or contact me if you can :-)

All I did was cover those cables which I'm showing. Not always is possible to fix this way, but is worth a shot. And, if you can't, you need to fix the display itself. The fault can be either on the driver board/scalar board or on the COFs = chip on film. These are connectors from the display to this driver board.
In general, it's an LVDS issue to fix. So, it's technical knowledge to learn before doing it. Plus, when you open your TV, there's a power supply, and I don't know if you can handle high voltages. So, that's all I can advice here, sorry :).
