Thanks for that! I am installing a box gutter on my patio roof here in Melbourne, Australia. This was very helpful. I am sure that I will watch it again before I attempt it.
Thanks for sharing. Is the bottom 45 angle? Then the front is a straight line up from the 45 angle? I need to do it myself. The contractor disappeared after taking down some portion of the gutters. Another charges us so expensively.
Yes, if you need the finished product to be 90 degrees then you need to cut it at a 45 degree angle on each side of the center line on the bottom and then if it’s a square gutter like the one I showed then yes draw a straight line up the front. Don’t forget to leave a little bit of material on one side for an overlap or a “tab”.
im a 20 year gutter contractor in fresno. love seeing your stuff.
Thanks man needed this on my ac install today

That’s awesome Gary, let me know if you have any questions!
You make it very easy 👍🏼
Great video. Can you do a k-style gutter just like that? Other videos cut two 45 with tabs and join them. I like your method better.
Yes they’re done pretty much the same way but you should probably try it on a scrap piece first for practice.
