I have this soundbar since two years, it's a bargain. The power it has is incredible, the voices are perfectly clear, and the music sounds so good with it. I live in an appartment and I literally have to stay at volume 20/100 or lower because otherwise it would be too loud for my neighbors lmao I recommend it to anyone.
I am almost a year with the bar and I could get a beautiful sound from it. For me the best audio mode is surround mode, and level up a little the center channel (+2), the rest of channels left them in zero also the rear ones (I've upgraded it with the 9200s rear speakers). Bluetooth mode for me is not good, it uses the SBC protocol and the audio loss quality, for listening music I listen through hdmi from the computer. Volume is incredibly high and clear! I'm very happy with this bar!
I too have a samsung t650 soundbar + swa 8500s rear speakers. I think standard or adaptive/smart sound mode works the best majority of time because in all other modes, the sound becomes a little thin according to me also except for standard mode, it upmix 2.1 to 5.1 and sometimes it doesn't sound good
I just bought the q800c. I got in the basement. It is literally the best sound ive heard listening to dolby atmos movies through disney or whatever. Its worth the money.

I am confused between the Samsung Q600B 360W and the Samsung B67E 560W. Both are available at around the same price during this offer period. The Q600B has additional top-firing speakers and Q Symphony, while the B67E has rear speakers for true surround sound. I’m unsure how these models compare in terms of overall sound and build quality. My room size is around 200 sq ft. I’m leaning towards the Q600B since I can upgrade it with a rear speaker kit in the future. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)
How is the channel separation? I want to use it to watch movies and play games too. Positional audio is pretty important for me, which is why I was looking at soundbars with Dolby Atmos.

Hi, thanks for the video. I am moving and my living room is going to be 3.5x6.2 meters, and the tv will be on the other side of the 6.2 meter side. So as I have around 6 meters of space (sofa and table also in the space) is this soundbar going to be enough? I can always get the additional speakers behind the sofa, but not the biggest fan of those lookwise. I also live in an apartment so I will have to keep the volume at a reasonable level. if your in an appartment and you dont have crazy high ceelings than this should be perfect for your space without the rear speakers. If you want more sound and better surround out of a bar by itself the Q800 is probably your best bet, is a little more expensive though.

A TV sounbar mount is a mount that is attached between the TV and TV mount, it drops below the tv so that you can screw in your soundbar under the tv allowing you to not have to wall mount it. It also comes with a wall mounting kit if you would rather do that!
well the difference is quite large, Q800 is 5.1.2 Q700 is 3.1.2. Now depending on how its setup there could be less bass being produced so that you can hear the heights. I think that is an issue of subwoofer placement and calibration. The subwoofer might be a little better with the 800, but definitely not worse.
Do you think the Q700B will play music with all speakers including the upfiring ones using WIFI? If that's the case then will it be a better option for music when the Q600B only works with BT?
700 and 600 are similar, 700 will have a little more bass but the bigger difference is the 800B. If you can get a closeout special on the 800B since its last years model that would be a better bang for your buck.
I have a Philips Tv, (The One), the TV it has dolby atmos, if i connect this soundbar which it has dolby atmos too, will the they work together, i mean dolby atmos from tv and dolby atmos from soundbar? Thank you

Im trying to decide between this and the hwb650. The q600b has 2 upfiring channels for Atmos but the hwb650 has more power. I've also seen quite a bit more negative reviews for the q600b in terms of going dead after a few weeks. Both are around the same price at the moment so having a hard time deciding. Which one would you recommend all things considered? Thanks!
it depends on what your listening too, music bluetooth will work, but if you dont plug it in to the tv for regular sound it could sometimes be delayed and there is definitely a loss.

I mean if you have an LG probably the LG, if you have a samsung probably a samsung. They both are producing a very similar sound. I just really like the Samsung's because I like to connect Bluetooth and play music and I think they are super easy to connect too and sound great.

they are meant to really only be used for the surround sounds, so whatever you are watching has to have it. The idea is that it bounces off your ceiling and lands behind you.

@@WaltsTV I checked soundbar with different TV and everything was fine. Then checked Chromecast connected into soundbar and again everything perfect. Few people advised me that it could be CEC issue and even replacing for same TV model wouldn't solve it. Very odd.
Our current set up is a new Samsung Q tv with an old Samsung HK soundbar. The volume can be really inconsistent with one program so low where you to have the volume turned up and then you switch to another show and the sound is way too loud, blasting you out of your seat. Does this new Q level soundbar have a feature that levels the volume from different shows/streaming services/etc?
Yes, you would want to have this sound bar setup in adaptive mode which would help adjust the volume for each type of thing that you watch automatically.
Thinking of either an HW-Q600B or HW-Q700B to pair with my 50" QN90B. They're within $100 of each other, so it's more a matter of whether the 700 will be overkill (or just look too large) under such a (relatively) small TV.
Right, what size is your room? If you have a 50" tv im guessing its smaller? If that is the case the 600B is probably perfect for you cause you will get that quality but it wont be overkill for the space.
@@WaltsTV I decided on the Q600, since the Q700 was wider than the 50” QN90B and I didn’t want the bar wider than TV. I’m sure the Q600 will more than fill out the 225 sq ft of my bedroom!
@@nkubkbkuj I haven’t really put the Q600 through its paces, as this is a bedroom TV and I don’t use it for action movies or blaring music, but I have every confidence it would blow me away if I needed it. But certainly for the purpose and as a match to the size of TV and size of room, it very pleased!
I have the q600 and I'd say go for the q700 just for real upfiring speakers as opposed to ambient beam whatever that is on my 600b. I think it just processes a weaker left centre right effect from two small ports above the speaker, giving a faint height sound. I have swa9200s rear speakers which make a big difference with Atmos content. Use Bluetooth connection where possible as I think it has a clearer sound, but definitely eArc for Atmos content, which is very good. Q600b was £238 in August 2023, but I think q700 is quite a bit more expensive. Enjoy 🙃

well something internal could have gone wrong, number one step to troubleshoot is to unplug it from the wall for 5-10 minutes. Also check that it works with your tv and Bluetooth not just music. If nothing works you definitely want to take advantage of the built in warranty.

Reading lots of negative reviews on the Samsung site about this one and that has me worried. Many with defective units either straight out of the box or a day later, some with it working for a month and then sounds cuts out altogether. Also a good amount of positive ones, so it's a bit strange. But it has me reluctant on getting it.
@@WaltsTV Yep. I have a Samsung S95B QD-OLED. It's the second set in less than half a year because the first one got stuck in a boot loop and basically died. But I'm hopeful this one sticks around, haha. I will use it for Xbox gaming and movies. I also see the Q990b for 750 euros, quite the price difference and not sure if it's worth that big of a price difference.
@@WaltsTV I forgot to mention that I really like how some of them support rear speakers. The 800b is 439 euros here and that comes without rear speakers. Rear speakers are around 200. At that point I'm like why don't I go for the Q990b? Which can be had for 750 euros now.
I had the JBL 5.1, and it is a insane amount of BASS, and very powerful amp. However, you can’t adjust the EQ, and the highs are very bright. It was enough to return, in my opinion. Samsung has more of a neutral sound, and can choose multiple EQ settings.
@@WaltsTV Good point. I ended up getting the Q600B for 300 plus tax. That was a great deal, and while it can’t compete with the high end soundbars, It is hard to beat at the price point. I do wish it had a little more bass, and a better sub. I have to understand, that to get that, you would need to go up to the Q800B. Great sound bar, but also 300.00 more usually.

This soundbar sounds amazing but I have a lot of trouble with syncing. Each time I forward a movie, change from one content to another even between same streaming platform the audio is lost and I have to mute and unmute to get the audio working. Sometimes I have to switch from earc input to BT and back again for the probelm to be solved. Already used to doing that but quite anoying
Wanted to ask. Mine just arrived last night. Wondering how can a hdmi earc connection less louder than bluetooth connection. Trying several sample. They was day and night. Im having a bluetooth connection feel superior than hdmi earc. In earc connection it was Less volume and not getting the thump effect. If someone had this issue. Can u spare the solution.. Thanks
Sometime technology can be very difficult for people and they have less patience when trying to trouble shoot or figure something out. People get mad at tech alot easier than alot of other things
Hey Walt, you mentioned that the upfiring speakers are meant for simulating the surround sounds, do they work for Atmos vertical channel if that's the case ?
So they "mimic" surround by sending the sound at an an angle towards your ceiling and bouncing behind your head. It also depends on your room. It is not true atmos but its better than you would assume.
@@WaltsTV I was a bit disappointed by the ambient beam thing, but the Atmos sound processed through the bar is very good in a small room anyway. The q800b would have been my choice if the 600b wasn't so damn cheap. Even with swa9200 speakers it's only cost £430 🙃

well if the product goes dead in a few weeks manufacture warranty will replace it... 650 is good but I like the Overall sound better form the 600B

Q600B is a bigger more powerful bar, Q60 is not as good and more focused on hitting that lower price point.

I would say as long as the back of the bar isn't under the screen of the tv and there is any gap it should be fine.

its 3.1.2 means 3 Front (2 on the sides, 1 centre) and 2 up firing.

Hello, I've heard that the LG S75Q soundbar it's a better option than this soundbar, from your experience what do you think its a better option, the Q600B or the S75Q ?
I mean if you have an LG probably the LG, if you have a samsung probably a samsung. They both are producing a very similar sound. I just really like the Samsung's because I like to connect Bluetooth and play music and I think they are super easy to connect too and sound great.

I think for music it sounds great, if your used to cinema surround i will be hard to get that exact emulation

i really cant hear any sound coming from the top firing speakers... i even turned the Top speaker volume to max.. still not sound... any suggestions?
they are meant to really only be used for the surround sounds, so whatever you are watching has to have it. The idea is that it bounces off your ceiling and lands behind you.
You cant use standard mode or you will only get 3.1.0 . Only in Adaptive, surround, and gaming will give you 3.1.2

@@atomen something could be wrong with the hdmi port on the soundbar or the TV. Very odd problem to have but yes usually optical is the most reliable.
@@WaltsTV I checked soundbar with different TV and everything was fine. Then checked Chromecast connected into soundbar and again everything perfect. Few people advised me that it could be CEC issue and even replacing for same TV model wouldn't solve it. Very odd.

600C is a better deal.
Our current set up is a new Samsung Q tv with an old Samsung HK soundbar. The volume can be really inconsistent with one program so low where you to have the volume turned up and then you switch to another show and the sound is way too loud, blasting you out of your seat. Does this new Q level soundbar have a feature that levels the volume from different shows/streaming services/etc?
Yes, you would want to have this sound bar setup in adaptive mode which would help adjust the volume for each type of thing that you watch automatically.

Thinking of either an HW-Q600B or HW-Q700B to pair with my 50" QN90B. They're within $100 of each other, so it's more a matter of whether the 700 will be overkill (or just look too large) under such a (relatively) small TV.
Right, what size is your room? If you have a 50" tv im guessing its smaller? If that is the case the 600B is probably perfect for you cause you will get that quality but it wont be overkill for the space.
@@WaltsTV I decided on the Q600, since the Q700 was wider than the 50” QN90B and I didn’t want the bar wider than TV. I’m sure the Q600 will more than fill out the 225 sq ft of my bedroom!

@@nkubkbkuj I haven’t really put the Q600 through its paces, as this is a bedroom TV and I don’t use it for action movies or blaring music, but I have every confidence it would blow me away if I needed it. But certainly for the purpose and as a match to the size of TV and size of room, it very pleased!
I have the q600 and I'd say go for the q700 just for real upfiring speakers as opposed to ambient beam whatever that is on my 600b. I think it just processes a weaker left centre right effect from two small ports above the speaker, giving a faint height sound. I have swa9200s rear speakers which make a big difference with Atmos content. Use Bluetooth connection where possible as I think it has a clearer sound, but definitely eArc for Atmos content, which is very good. Q600b was £238 in August 2023, but I think q700 is quite a bit more expensive. Enjoy 🙃

I think it does personally, the b-550 shocked me and thats a lower quality soundbar. The range on this soundbar is great for the lower cost!

Bro please advice my brand new samsung q600b/XL sound bar stopped working not powering up after just playing 4 songs it stopped playing no power coming in no led blinking its just lying idle dead can you guess what could have gone wrong seriously 😒
well something internal could have gone wrong, number one step to troubleshoot is to unplug it from the wall for 5-10 minutes. Also check that it works with your tv and Bluetooth not just music. If nothing works you definitely want to take advantage of the built in warranty.

Reading lots of negative reviews on the Samsung site about this one and that has me worried. Many with defective units either straight out of the box or a day later, some with it working for a month and then sounds cuts out altogether. Also a good amount of positive ones, so it's a bit strange. But it has me reluctant on getting it.
Do you have a samsung tv? And also alot of people dont know how to troubleshoot electronics so if they ever run into and issue they think its broken.
@@WaltsTV Yep. I have a Samsung S95B QD-OLED. It's the second set in less than half a year because the first one got stuck in a boot loop and basically died. But I'm hopeful this one sticks around, haha. I will use it for Xbox gaming and movies. I also see the Q990b for 750 euros, quite the price difference and not sure if it's worth that big of a price difference.

@@WaltsTV I forgot to mention that I really like how some of them support rear speakers. The 800b is 439 euros here and that comes without rear speakers. Rear speakers are around 200. At that point I'm like why don't I go for the Q990b? Which can be had for 750 euros now.

I had the JBL 5.1, and it is a insane amount of BASS, and very powerful amp. However, you can’t adjust the EQ, and the highs are very bright. It was enough to return, in my opinion. Samsung has more of a neutral sound, and can choose multiple EQ settings.

@@WaltsTV Good point. I ended up getting the Q600B for 300 plus tax. That was a great deal, and while it can’t compete with the high end soundbars, It is hard to beat at the price point. I do wish it had a little more bass, and a better sub. I have to understand, that to get that, you would need to go up to the Q800B. Great sound bar, but also 300.00 more usually.

I like samsung soundbars, atleast the Q level soundbars I think they did a nice job on.
This soundbar sounds amazing but I have a lot of trouble with syncing. Each time I forward a movie, change from one content to another even between same streaming platform the audio is lost and I have to mute and unmute to get the audio working. Sometimes I have to switch from earc input to BT and back again for the probelm to be solved. Already used to doing that but quite anoying

Try flipping the cable. Some hdmi cables are directional.

Hey Walt, you mentioned that the upfiring speakers are meant for simulating the surround sounds, do they work for Atmos vertical channel if that's the case ?
So they "mimic" surround by sending the sound at an an angle towards your ceiling and bouncing behind your head. It also depends on your room. It is not true atmos but its better than you would assume.
@@WaltsTV I was a bit disappointed by the ambient beam thing, but the Atmos sound processed through the bar is very good in a small room anyway. The q800b would have been my choice if the 600b wasn't so damn cheap. Even with swa9200 speakers it's only cost £430 🙃
