I almost never comment on RUclips videos, but, well, here I am: I just got a battery from BumbleBee for my Fancy New 2002 Honda Insight. This was a great project, relatively straight forward, and I finished up in just a few hours. The battery on my was original, and the car has 127,000 miles on it. In Excellent Shape, I expect this car to go another 100k or more before needing another battery. Thanks for providing a valuable service for keeping these adorable little cars on the road.
I swapped out my 2000 Insight's battery pack last night with a Bumblebee pack using this video as a reference. Went very smoothly, took just a little over two hours start to finish. After installation, started the car up and after idling for a few minutes, had 100% charge showing on the IMA gauge. Looking forward to taking a road trip!
Followed every detail to the letter! Vrooom my five speed 2002 Honda Insight runs like clockwork. I had to jump the small battery, and that was the magic trick. Thank you, Bumblebee!
Excellent video !! Well lit, well photographed, step by step was great and easy to follow the voice instructions ~ !! Love the safety & other "tips". Big AttaBoy for whomever did the production on this tutorial video! Giant Thumbs Up on this one BumbleBee!! Way better than the static instructions elsewhere. I can now see that the DIY battery swap is very do-able. Will be ordering a battery pack soon from you guys.... Ras
So im looking at replacing my battery, anyone know where i can get a new fan? If i have it this far apart i would like to replace the fan while im at it
Starting at 8:19 (the hardest connector to deal with) I am trying to slide this thing off but it is not sliding, press the tab in and slide but its stuck and the metal is bending. How to proceed?

Clear video, easy to follow instructions. Took me about four hours. Biggest pain was exactly where the video says it was 8:22 .
