I didn’t care but cut them off and continued on my journey to find a shithouse.

    For those that have worked Emergency Response you know well an incident involving a train derailment, plane crash or Chemical Industrial Plant accident can take days, weeks even months to remediate. A good Command Post is essential as Emergency Response personnel will be there for long hours. Yes, portable toilets are a necessity, the Mobile Command Post featured in this video seems to have all the esstials needed for the long haul.

    • @jdboy9
      @jdboy9 2 года назад +19

      Yeah exactly. Considering the size and mass of that truck. Be nice to clear a path for it instead of blowing down roads hoping nobody gets in its way.

    • @longnamedude3947
      @longnamedude3947 2 года назад +6

      Agreed.
      That thing isn't stopping for anyone, needs at least two escort vehicles, either cars or motorbikes, just to clear the path ahead of them.
      Three motorbikes would be perfect thanks to them being so manuverable and having such rapid acceleration, you could always have one bike scouting up ahead whilst the other two go with the moving convoy itself.
      In theory everyone should clear their way out of a junction in that situation and pull up to the side of the road or onto the curb if needed to provide maximum space to ANY emergency vehicle, unfortunately it seems like many people do not know the rules & regulations of the road and seemingly ignore sirens when they are nearby.
      If you hear sirens out on the road GET YO ASS TO THE PATHSIDE AND STAY THERE UNTIL THEY GO PAST YOU!
      One day those sirens could be coming to save your life and I am sure you would want every person along the route to move out of the way for you.

    • @troyr57
      @troyr57 2 года назад

      Definitely need a escort, I have actually escorted a fully loaded water tender for our Fire Department and was definitely glad it didn't run me over, needed to be far enough in front, but not to far so no one entered the intersection after I cleared an the 8,000 gallon 18 wheeler entered.

    • @danielrose1392
      @danielrose1392 2 года назад

      These trucks are not immediately required like a fire truck. Sure they use lights and sirens to speed up the process, but they can slow down whenever the situation is not as simple as here in the video, a wide street and intersection with green lights.

    Rescue, not Recuse. It's almost a little funny to hear an electronic air horn on a Freightliner Cascadia, would have been a perfect candidate for even a single Buell or Grover 1510.

    • @josephbennett3482
      @josephbennett3482 2 года назад +4

      Not necessarily government funded , the price of living and Taxes are extremely high in places like Los Angeles and the emergency services get that type of equipment because of how massive the places are although they really don't need stuff like that.

    I have been in public safety since 1994. This is typically the last piece of equipment called to a scene. I’m curious as to why they need a light and siren for toilets? Can you imagine getting ran over by one of these trucks driving that fast. It would be real hard for LASD to justify.
