Hey James, I don’t know if you’ll see this but just wanted to say thank you for making this video. Coming as a first generation Canadian myself, your story resonates a lot with me. While my parents never forced me to become a doctor or lawyer, I always felt this pressure on me to get a job that would bring honor to my family. My life felt unfulfilling for so many years until I finally gained the strength to honor my desires too. I’m 22 now and am starting over. Everyday I question if I’m making the right choice but hearing your story had reminded me how valuable it is to live with authenticity and genuine purpose. I’ve let down a lot of people and it’s been an extremely painful process, but I can 100% say I’ve never felt more driven and excited for life than I do now. Can’t wait to see how your channel grows!

That’s amazing man, follow that feeling!
I know we’re strangers on the internet, but I’m proud of you for taking the leap and following your own path, no matter how uncertain it might seem.
I promise that your future self is thanking you.
      Thank you for sharing!!

Out of curiosity, what kind of sales do you do?

Hey, James. I'm in Engineering too at 24 and I feel the exact same way you did back then. My engineering job in Aerospace pays well but it's absolutely soul sucking and it's keeping me half way across the country from everyone I want to spend time with. How would you recreate your success now if you had to start over? Would you recommend having something lined up first or just quitting and figuring it out afterwards?

I would have done everything I did… but much faster.
It depends on your risk tolerance and how much of a runway you have saved.
I was lucky to be living at home at the time, so I was able to quit without having anything lined up.
