Does ANYONE have an actual schematic or service manual for this terminal? The User Manual is online, but multiple sources say that there is no schematic or service manual anywhere on the internet.
There is a part number listed for the service manual. But they appear as if most of the service centers have thrown out all the documents. I’m hoping someone will have a copy and scan it. There were two versions of the ADM31.
@@rick601a It looks to me like there is a version with dip switched on the back and a version with rotating dials like we have. Do you know which version is earlier? Are there other differences? And then there is the sales brochure, which shows a version with all dark keys and a brightness control on the keyboard!
@@rivards1 Logic board 129889 has the thumb wheel baud rate switches and the option for composite video. Also the 129889 uses a 55 volt Ball brothers monitor chassis. The 132410 logic board uses the dip switches for baud rate setup. And the 15 volt Samsung monitor and no composite video option. They appear to be different keyboard switches as well between the models and firmware locations as well. My guess is the 129889 logic board looks older but it also has a special IC as well like a program logic array IC which doesn’t look to be in the 132410 logic board. That also being said the power supply modules will not exchange between them because one is 55 volt monitor Ball Brothers and 15 volt Samsung. The 132410 logic I’m thinking is newer. The maintenance manual part number is DP310 And Parts Catalog is DP711 if anyone can still locate the manuals hopefully they will scan them as they are greatly needed for us all who have the ADM31 series
