Wow...this is the first I have heard about using QR codes in the classroom. I could be wrong, but this seems like a very new, high tech approach to teaching: I'm highly impressed. You seem like a really good, organized, committed, high tech, and engaging teacher...so I think it's safe to say your students are lucky to have you. Great work and great informative video!
Thank you so much!! I am praying that hearing my voice before school begins on my parent letter will ease the minds of my students. Anything to make them less anxious!! It worked like a charm!
After watching your video last week, I researched myself and created QR codes of my kids reading their wax museum scripts in their costumes. We will share at p/t conferences. Thanks for all the great ideas. I'm a little proud that I figured it out myself. I enjoy your videos!
Hello! Thank you so much for the info, explanation, examples, usage and tips. I too have wondered what all the hype and functionality of QR codes were and now I see it is the perfect way to engage and empower students, inform parents easily AND this method can also connect the child to their parents as well. Such a full and incorporating circle of success!
I have been using QR codes to basically create quest/video game themed series of assignments and instant worksheets. I absolutely love it, it allows me to have a tool kit that I can drop into any situation and generate data. For example, "Quick Write" is reusable assignment that is on a QR code class set that I can just grab and distribute and -boom- it's started! Loved your video, got some great ideas. Thanks a bunch
Great refresher on QR codes! I'm interested in an advanced vlog about QR codes - anything that'll make my students more engaged and independent is a fabulous thing!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I'll admit, I was one of those scared individuals who had no idea what QR Codes were. Now I am enjoying making them, and hope to get as much use as I can out of them.
Thank you very much for your delivery very professional and extremely well done. I'm more than sure that your students are happy with your teaching skills and have good results. Keep on planting seeds for future generations keep up the good work.
I would love to hear about your student teaching experience! I'm entering my third year as an Education major, and would love some tips on how to prepare!
I promise QR codes are not out of style! I'm only 16 (junior in high school prospective teacher) and I had no idea how to use them because they are pretty new to me. Thank you for this video even though QR codes will probably be out of date by the time I'm a teacher, by at least now I can use them for school!! Also just a little thing I would love for you to do would be to kind of give some tips for students who are getting ready to be majoring in education like I said I'm a junior and college is right around the corner!! 😱😱😱😳😳😳😳😳😳😳
This is awesome, thanks for the video, I have so many ideas of what I can do now, and who knew, just a 10 min video was all it would take to tell me how to do it!
Wow, did we grow up in the same world lol. How do you know all of this!? I thought this was already advanced lol. Thanks! So much info. squeezed in...I'll need to rewatch a bunch ;)
This was so informative and helpful. I am a school psychologist, but no one has a YT channel for school psychs. 😄 I thought of several ways I could use QR codes...yay!
Great helpful videos. A suggestion, if possible, sometimes it may be helpful to have the screen shot large and your picture inserted in a corner as we found it challenging to see the screenshot. Cheers.
Thank you for your video. I always wanted to know how to use it in my class. You mentioned in your video about Google accounts. Google provides unlimited storage to all school district accounts. So, if you are not sure check with your district. We all have Google accounts, and so do all of our students.
You mentioned in your video that you have a way to create a qr code with added features such as logo's, colors, etc. for free. Please let me know which website to use and how to get these features for free. Thank you, Debi
Hello there! I'm a new sub, and I've watched most all of your videos now 😩 I was curious if you've ever worked with younger children? I found out today that I got a job as a preschool teacher (2~3 year old class) before moving up to pre-K and K, and I was wondering if you had any tips? There's lots of videos for Pre-K and K, not so many for preschool 😩 Thanks!!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. You are a beautiful person. But I wish the camera was centered on the computer screen; so that we see how you actually do the things that you are talking about. We could follow along, some people learn by doing.
Thank goodness I don’t have any time tomorrow to get it to me tomorrow night or tomorrow night if u r was a good day for us we can do a lot tomorrow morning and then go back to the office to
Why all of the word super at the beginning of everything. It is getting a little like we are being taught by robots who have been programmed with this new buzzword super. It is just starting to get super sily isnt it.
I liked the content of your video it was very informative. But I am an older person and you speak too fast for me. so I have put it on my watch later list.. I am sorry if I sound rude i do not mean to be. Just an observation.
Hi Richard! You can alter the playback speeds of RUclips videos which means you can slow them down (or pause along the way) if you need more time to digest the information being presented!

Just to tell everyone you don’t need a QR code reader app Apple has one built-in
Could you please do a video on how to set up scholastic book orders? I would love to do that in my classroom.
Really good job... super helpful. Thank you.

Do the QR codes expire? Or can they be used years from now?
Thanks
With iPhone you don’t need a qr reader right?
Hi! Great video. I am going to try this. Haven't yet , but I will let you know when I do. Trying to make art anchor chart with QR codes. Thanks.

Loved this! Can't wait to try QR codes. I meant to wish you good luck on your vlog for your upcoming interview!
How do you avoid paying once the free trial has ended? You mentioned that there are ways around this.
Thanks so much for making this!
Thanks for making this!
in some districts after 7 years of experience you can become an Instructional Technology Specialist. I think you'd be perfect for that!

Great video! Can you please point me to all of your videos which include the use of technology?
What is the point of QR Codes?
Love this video on QR codes! Thank you! Have you heard of Seesaw? You can use QR codes on that website, I think. It's very easy to use too!
You mentioned in your video that you have a way to create a qr code with added features such as logo's, colors, etc. for free. Please let me know which website to use and how to get these features for free. Thank you, Debi
