In America when you have anyone who leaves your property you NEED to film it and most of us do for any liability. So that is not creepy but the people who leaked it were very creepy.

The reason for the body cam was to document the empty apartment, and to protect the staff member that entered the apartment. They have to document it, especially when they were informed that the apartment had been vacated. Too much drama.

Yeah, my mom's renting out a house we used to have before we moved and had to move agencies and discovered the bad state the house was in when the new estate agent sent photos of how the place looked and that the previous agent stole money that was meant for repairs from her. Now my mom asks for at least each month a photo of the house to see its condition (there's like a crap ton of issues that she now needs to get fixed because of the previous tenant and the estate agent. The estate agent also tried changing the contract about allowing tenants to smoke while the original contract tenants aren't allowed to smoke inside of the house. Mom was pissed when she saw the new contract that she was about to approve)

Then you have never lived in a rental unit before. It is common practice to document a property after a tenant leaves in case of damages or changes made to a unit that was not authorized by the renter which could lead to civil suit. This is why whenever we lived in rental unit we had to make sure the was no damages to property for a full return of the deposit.
