This broadcast is so important; I so wish Americans who ignore what is actually being perpetrated upon Gazans could listen to this. Most of us with half a heart at least can see and listen to the horrors of the injuries and not have to find a reason for stopping the carnage. However, people still question the testimonies and insist that all of the casualties are necessary in order to get Hamas, or that they are inflated. Testmony from professionals is invaluable in order to reach the powers thst be and hopefully the International Courts.

This is not a matter of supporting one side or the other at the expense of the oth side. It's a matter of our shared humanity, of empathy for the innocents suffering on both sides.
Israeli’s are not suffering and enjoy a very luxurious life. The university and healthcare is free while US citizens who’s tax money goes there don’t have the same privileges. In 70 years there has been likely 20x as many Palestinians killed has their been on the other side. So try to portray it as a balanced suffering of both sides is a complete dismal and ignorance of past and present history and to actually see what’s going on in terms of the lack of rights and freedoms and any autonomy of the Palestinians. Its just like if in the past it was said that “well its not about supporting the South African blacks on one side and the white governing regime and white population but its suffering on both side” as we know one was an apartheid regime that was bent on the oppression of the black South African population. So let’s be realistic and not talk in fluffy simplistic platitudes.
I cannot come to terms with the inhumanity shown by our western governments and the brutality being exercised by the Israeli government to the Palestinian people, in contrast are the accounts being given by these courageous medical professionals ,I have never felt so proud of my own profession.
How about Israel release over 10,000 Palestinians held in Israeli jails. They are people held without charges and a huge percentage of them, women and children. They are often tortured and abused. I’ll bet you didn’t know that, did you. Also, if a prisoner dies while in jail, they do not release the dead body to the family, but keep it there to finish serving the prison sentence. Nice guys, huh? Maybe it’s time to expand your knowledge so you learn the facts
