When you understand how drunks think, it’s sounds like a normal case not out of the ordinary. “You should be asleep” sounds like he was trying to make an excuse to his family coming home from the pub all wasted. Him going around and rummage through stuff doesn’t sound odd as he couldn’t recall where his stuff was, since he couldn’t remember. He was also holding a can in the video and they never said the door was broken.

The reason I don't think he is burgling is because he wouldn't have been wearing light coloured clothing, he would've been wearing dark coloured clothes and most likely face covering, maybe a black hoodie. If he was drunk he wouldn't have been walking up the stair so coherently. He intentionally didn't answer when you asked how he got in. @Archie Salmon you can get single level alarms so if theyre on the top floor and dont plan on going down to the first level anymore you can set it... So any movement down stars sets them off.
It wouldn't make sense to have an alarm system on whilst your in.
The alarm would go off after sensing your own movement.
Best is to make sure everything is locked before going upstairs.

People don't rob houses in t-shirts with no gloves and not even a hood to cover the back of their head. Eri hussain I don’t think that’s how laxatives work lol. The big danger with laxatives is dehydration, 1 big Gatorade to 3/4 regular water bottles every 4-8 hours (depending on the severity of the diarrhea/dose) is more than enough to keep it safe.
Now, it is probably possible to OD on laxatives but it’s probably like 3 boxes of laxatives that’d do that. Diuretics (basically laxatives) are banned as a weight loss tool in the UFC and boxing (maybe) because the risk is extreme dehydration. Rommel or Jay would be fine with proper hydration.

The way he was standing on the stairs doesn't really look like he was drunk or something, I think he was just looking around for anyone, the house is large and he obviously doesn't know the insides of it, it seemed like he was peeping on the second floor for you guys, just to examine the place and see if you are asleep or not, if he already went trough some of your stuff, nobody knows what he could've done if he saw you were asleep. He was just playing dumb when you caught him, the fact that he knows the time, the path to get in the house and the comments he made about you not sleeping were too suspicious and disturbing, he had a loss for words, he wasn't saying anything because he didn't want to get out the information that he was trying to scout out the house. Also it would've been way worse if he was armed, you should look out for that, keep weapons in some rooms for easy access if something goes down, he already scouted out 2 floors, no one knows if he plans to return to this house. High level security would be great for a large house like this. Stay safe.
