That last bit about the parents driving these kids long distance to go knock on the door of their favourite RUclipsrs is so weird to me. Maybe I'm just old enough now to know better but back when I was in school and these guys were in the early stages of being the Sidemen, if I had asked my mum to go to the Sidemen house she would've told me to piss off. The kids, even though I've never been so much of a stan that I would actively try and meet RUclipsrs, I can understand that a few of them would want to seek them out but their parents should really know better.

It's so weird hearing fans do this. When I was 13/14 and I was watching the sidemen it never even crossed my mind to go to their house. For me seeing them on RUclips was enough.
When I was a kid, I used to walk through peoples yards to get back to my house. I knew almost everyone and most of the time, parents were at work, so I’d take the whole Saturday to run around the neighborhood, but I never went into their backyards or up towards their house 😂.

@@pinksunflowers3986 it does have an effect though, for example one of the sidemen members could check the subscriber count some day and that number would vary based on if the commenter was subscribed or not and just seeing a different number there would change a lot

I live in Denmark and bought tickets to the sidemen matches, so me and my dad went to London for a weekend for the sole purpose of seeing 22 men chasing a ball... I know its an event so it's not quite the same, but still, crazy the length parents will go for their child

My dad still brings it up to this day, we went around the stadium after we met all the guys (sidemen) and 2-4 boys asked us if we just met them, and then they heard our accents didn’t quite match a British person, they then asked where we were from, we said Denmark, and they Said something like “damn, you most be the best dad ever”.... There old house that he was talking about is in Orpington, the road is called marlin park avenue and all the coopers kids used to knock on their door because Ksi used to leave a purple lambo on the road 😅
To be fair, It was beyond stupid to leave a famous Lamborghini outside your house without a gate. You can tell exactly why their next house was in a private neighbourhood and why their cars are never shown off now they live in central london.
