2021 the offense was more explosive but also lived and died with it.. this offense is much more well rounded and has more answers for what defenses bring

I’ve been born and raised in South Carolina. I’ve been a big Bills fan since my cousin from New York bullied me into rooting for the Bills and Mets as a kid!😂 Me and my wife catch one game a year in a city we’ve never visited. We went to the game in Indy a few weeks ago. It was fun and Bills fans have been so nice at every game we’ve been to because the Mafia travels deep! Folks think I’m from Buffalo given how much I talk about the Bills! But I’ve been a fan since ‘88! Your assessments have always been spot on. I truly believe it’s their time this year. Myself also! Been following the Bills religiously since '88! Never visited Buffalo being born and raised out here in California 40 miles from Firebaugh, where I actually worked nights back in '88 building the Tomatek tomato plant that's just barely outside downtown firebaugh. I was a welder just starting out in the trade. I've been to one Bills game versus the Niners in San Francisco the last year Bledsoe was our QB. Go Bills!
This one did matter because we were finally able to take something away from Kansas City, which was their chance at an unbeaten season. I've been watching the NFL for a long time, and I have been especially interested in what constitutes a championship team. Production has to come from multiple places. I'm seeing that more this year than in past years.
Great QB, great trenches, balanced between offense and defense. The Bills meet most of those categories, but defensive line (against both the run and pass) could be a weakness. Liked their performance against Mahomes though.
I think the fact we dont really have huge mega stars on our team anymore is what allowed the team to become less predictable and coordinated. No player trying to take the glory so that they fill there ego. This is why we look more complete that before.
Last year's talent was similar but no Bernard, Milano, Rapp, or Benford for the KC playoff game and Taron Johnson was clearly playing hurt. All comes down to health. I'd just like to know why couldn't get the best out of Settle Jr. Looks like a different dude in Houston.
It looks to me like a lot of teams have moved the ball up and down the field on Buffalo's defense, and it is mostly due to the plus turnover margin that has resulted in wins for the Bills. Getting turnovers is great, but this defense doesn't look that great otherwise. They are rarely stopping teams unless they get the takeaways.

I think that KC's best plan for a rematch should be to start with the ball, use the strong revamped run game with two good backs, and score first to go up 7. They had to get away from the run game partially because the Bills were doing a good job taking it away, partially because their star back was out, and partially because they were forced to keep up with the Bills. They should trust their defense to stop Buffalo from taking advantage of their opening second half drive. On the flip side, the Bills will ideally have their full power on offense, and be able to use Coleman and Kincaid to really help everybody eat. I also think that the run game will be improved with the OL at full strength. I think KC scores 14 additional points if everything goes perfectly for them, but I still think the Bills score at least 8 points with everyone eating at full strength. That puts us up by 3 within 2 minutes... I think it comes down to that final drive. Everyone has more than proven that they know how to close out a close game, just have to get it done!!!
Should we try to draft another 1st round wr? It might be nice to keep building young guys especially if you keep Cooper for a little bit that way he can rub off on them

But is this the best version of McDermott's coaching? I'd like to think so. I've been a critic of his but he's improved this year. I'd like to see the challenges cleaned up with whoever is telling him to do them.
The way I see it, basically every guy who was on the team in ‘21 and ‘22 that is still on the team is better now than they were then, especially on defense. On top of adding new guys, and cutting guys who are largely playing worse for their new teams, it really seems like this is just the evolution of the older roster
@@Stockhandle123 Hyde only played 2 games in ‘22 my guy. Poyer was hurt too. Von also had like 3 times the snaps in ‘22 than this year. WR’s are better, Tight ends are better, O-Line is better, Corners are better, Safeties are better, Running backs are better, and LB’s are playing better overall. The only person on this team who is inarguably worse now than he was in ‘22 is Tyler Bass. That’s it imo.
Ultimately we won't know until the end of the season if this is the best Bills team Josh has played on. Game isn't played on paper; so saying certain names not being here makes us better or worse is a pointless argument for those people who are making it. If we win the super bowl it absolutely is the best team, if we lose first round then obviously it's not. Personally think this team has a higher chance of being built to succeed in the playoffs, but it's a long season and there's only one way to find out

Bills beating KC in regular last 3 years, were built on Psych…. They were up …and played faster and harder This game seemed like more like usual business …. They looked the same as they have all year … if u know what I mean ….. it’s not like players were playing faster… they have been all year … Allen didn’t play, nor needed yo play a perfect game …. … Backups were in and yet still won
Health and determination will be key. I’ve felt like in the past they peaked mentally when beating Chiefs and then took other teams too lightly afterwards.
We have to face it, Buffalo will lose a likely 2 + games because of being so bad at time management. Time for the coaches/players to have a meeting of the minds to make sure McDermott finishes the games last one minute with their time outs available. The biggest failure of his. No time-outs on punts or field goals. Never when other team has the ball. LlVE WITH THE PENALTY WHEN POSSIBLE.

2022 pre von injury is the best bills team in franchise history. Now once jones von hyde and white went down it wasn't that good anymore.
This team is playing as well as that one, but for a longer period of time. Plus it's deeper and more capable of withstanding injuries.

Both Diggs and Davis have gone down with season ending leg injuries for their respective teams.
The way I see it, basically every guy who was on the team in ‘21 and ‘22 that is still on the team is better now than they were then, especially on defense. On top of adding new guys, and cutting guys who are largely playing worse for their new teams, it really seems like this is just the evolution of the older roster
Lol no. In 22 we had pre injury von peak hyde poyer DaQuan Jones, Milano and diggs. We downgraded across the board in each of those spots.
@@Stockhandle123 Hyde only played 2 games in ‘22 my guy. Poyer was hurt too. Von also had like 3 times the snaps in ‘22 than this year.
WR’s are better, Tight ends are better, O-Line is better, Corners are better, Safeties are better, Running backs are better, and LB’s are playing better overall.
The only person on this team who is inarguably worse now than he was in ‘22 is Tyler Bass. That’s it imo.
All those names on defense before this year.. consistently one of the worst tackling defenses in the league.

Ultimately we won't know until the end of the season if this is the best Bills team Josh has played on. Game isn't played on paper; so saying certain names not being here makes us better or worse is a pointless argument for those people who are making it. If we win the super bowl it absolutely is the best team, if we lose first round then obviously it's not. Personally think this team has a higher chance of being built to succeed in the playoffs, but it's a long season and there's only one way to find out

Health and determination will be key. I’ve felt like in the past they peaked mentally when beating Chiefs and then took other teams too lightly afterwards.
