That clutch comment was a dig. Anyone who's watched the games knows Allen's lack of clutch play isn't why they've lost smh. Sick of hearing Pat Mahomes is more clutch when it's been his TEAM why he's won most of his big games. Pat is overrated. Shady should know the audience he's speaking to and the bs narrative he is pushing. 3 compliments and an unfair dig is not a friendly interview. When someone says "you're a fantastic amazing player, but" everything before the but is bullshite. Shame on shady.
Mccoy and Josh were the ones that started the handshake tradition in buffalo. every player has a handshake with every other. we need a josh allen interview from shady. would only be fitting to see those two together again. also wish you guys would of asked him about his love for his o-line in buffalo and how one year he bought them all rolexes
Love the comment on sean .. as a former player myself .. in football of ALL sports .. you MUST fully respect your head coach . Sean was great wrestler. He is JACKED .. he is a Christian .. he is a LEADER OF MEN. He totally changed the buffalo bills. .. along with Josh .. but I’ve loved sean since day 1. And glad he is OUR coach!
James Cook used to go down easy in his rookie year, defenders would touch his legs and he would go down. He's really developed into a back that wont go down.
Shout out to Shady! Also, it was Anthony Barr who Allen leaped over not Eric Kendricks. Shady always have Allen's back and saw the potential early on before the league was put on notice.
I love that you had Shady on the show, I really love that you chose him because he was there in the beginning and him/Josh/the head coach really had the most to do with transforming the culture/team that I love.
I grew up watching Catalana on the news in Rochester. Moved away with the Marine Corps in 2005 and eventually made it back to the Rochester area. This Buffalo Plus vid/pod cast has been my favorite Bills content for a while now. The 3 of you are fantastic together. Thank you for the amusing and awesome content!
Love Mike's dig at Chip Kelly. I was never terribly impressed by him, and as an Eagles fan, I'm sure Mike has MUCH stronger feelings than I do about Kelly. That said, I'm eternally grateful for the firesale trade that brought Shady to Buffalo, and ESPECIALLY for the winning touchdown in the 2017 Snow Game against the Colts.
Hair color thing very authentic and a bit exposing lol. For guys its not about the color its about the coverage. Also Dan another baby girl???? Good luck my man!
The difference between Josh and Patrick is that Patrick has a defense that shows up in the playoffs, special teams that show up in the playoffs, WR that show up in the playoffs and end off game decision making that works. Our DL has been absent from those playoff games against KC, ABSENT!!! No pressure on Mahomes! Diggs was 2/6 and dropped a pass late in the game last year. 13 seconds, touchback took 0 seconds off the clock, missed chip shot field goal last year that would have tied the game, MVS made key plays last year in each game and Diggs didn’t (come on, we all know that Diggs should be better than MVS - who we just cut and took a big dead cap hit for). Patrick has one of the all time best offensive minds in the game - every year. Josh is on his 3rd OC. Yet, when Josh leaves the field for the last time, the team is winning or should have kicked that short field goal to tie the game. He didn’t lose the games. He put them in position to win. THE DIFFERENCE IS THAT JOSH IS BETTER THAN PATRICK MAHOMES BUT HIS SUPPORT FAILS HIM EVERY YEAR IN THE PLAYOFFS. He can’t say that, he’s a team player.
Shady was great and picked up the energy for the whole group! Big fan of his take about coaching. He alluded to it, but we’ve all chatted around the tee box about it: put Josh with Reid as his HC and he’s the stud. What makes Josh better than Pat IMO is that Pat wouldn’t be anywhere near as successful as he is, or as statistically successful as Josh is now if he has the same coaches as Josh. Josh finds a way despite coaching. He found a way to be a top 10 pick despite coach Bohl and his staff (and I’m a Wyoming alum). He’s sought help Outside to overcome his coaches. Pat was blessed with a HOF offensive head coach who had already gone through years of struggles.
Shady was the first building block for the Bills to become a championship organization again after the very long drought... And for that, all of us in the Bills Mafia will always acknowledge and respect him... Thank You Mr. McCoy... Come back and see us sometime... You will always be embraced
Something got into Jimbo this season and he installed "power running" on top of everything else he already did (all of which also progressed this season). I think dude is fully bought-in at this point and feeding off his teammates' energy and the culture and the fans. Watching him truck dudes has been incredible - he looks nearly unstoppable
Love Shady. All my life I felt very, very strongly that the OL makes your running game. I was baffled as the bills kept using 1st round picks on RBs while their OL remained shoddy at best. Spiller, Marshawn…. You know the names. I knew Shady was good. But I never really watched Philly games. I was happy when we got him, but only just so. Then I saw him play and it was jaw dropping. He was a guy that could single handedly change an entire franchise’s rushing attack. We became a dominant running team over night. It obliterated all of my preconeived notions that RBs are fungible and only OLs matter when it comes to rushing. Now…. Rex also improved our OL at the time. But not by aTHAT MUCH! His impact was so pronounced, I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that when we acquired him he was the best player at any position that we had for 10-15 years. An absolutely INCREDIBLE player!
Shady's a nice enough guy and I wish him well but my main takeaway from the pod is how happy I am our current roster is populated by team-first players.
McCoy was a leader on McDermott’s 1st team. He was very important in keeping things together after the Peterman disaster. Also had a big influence on rookie Josh Allen
Love Shady ! But Iam sick of hearing how Mahomes is clutch vs Allen in the playoffs! Iam not sure what games people were watching but Josh has put us in position to win against the Chiefs in every game they played it was the defense that can’t get it done ! Go Bills
He didn't just say against the Chiefs. Mahomes has been incredible against everyone. Patriots, Bills Chiefs. Bengals got him (and got Josh too). You can't deny his ability, but Allen had 2 great playoff games against KC (not so much in 1st)
When I saw your guest I was tempted to say something like, hope you learn from him going forward, but I figured I'd let you have some sunshine. I'm ten minutes in and thinking, I bet you don't asked him the pressing question of the day, "how many more thousands of yards do you think you would have gotten if coach would have let you run with the ball in one hand like Josh did on fourth and 2"?
Great episode! Enjoyed Shady! Best to Dan and family… 👧🏼👧🏼👶🏻, Mike- nothing worse than a bad dye job on a man. (Bob Costas, really??) Jenna, you are a big girl now!
I’m sick of Bill’s mafia and the media saying that we shouldn’t be excited about this game I think it’s a step in the right direction and we should be very excited to see what’s ahead!!
i say we sit Bernard until we play the chiefs in the playoffs. not realistically but would actually not be a bad idea knowing we are almost garunteed the division and a home game. have him practice as if hes playing but sit him until the last game of the season. play week 18 to knock off a lil bit of rust. lol wont happen
Shadey shades Edgerrin James smh LeSean was a Bill n I'm a Buffalo Bill thru n thru but don't come for EJ who was a great running back in this league who's earned his HOF jacket.
Josh Allen 2021 playoffs (13 second game).... Josh = Clutch......Defense/coaching = NOT clutch. Josh Allen 2023 playoffs, Josh = Clutch..... Tyler Bass = NOT Clutch
The 13 seconds game ;as we have mentioned many times on this channel) was the greatest display by a QB in playoffs that lost as I have ever seen. Clutch all night long. (Mike)
@@BuffaloPlus 100% Mike.. I was just referencing Shady's comparison of Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, and the difference between the two.. He said that Mahomes has the "clutch" gene.. which I believe Josh also has. I think the difference in the teams as to why the Bills have been unable to beat the chiefs in the playoffs is coaching and Injuries. 2023 the Bills had AJ Klein covering Travis Kelce, missing Bernard and Milano, and Klein was on his couch the week prior. I truly think this season, if the bills can play the chiefs in the playoffs and they are healthy on defense, they have the better team and can beat them. P.S. Love the channel...
Shady is the best I always watch him on the Facility, the honesty is what I love about him, no BS. Thanks Mike, Jenna & Dan, credit to all of you for being her for us. Go Bills! 💙🤍❤️
Rex Ryan said it best… Josh Allen never lost to Pat Mahomes, the bills have!! Josh is one of thee most clutch players I’ve ever seen

Love Buffalo Plus and love Shady. Shady still looks like a young kid. Love his enthusiasm towards the Bills. GO BILLS !!!
Shady is class man... thanks sooo much guys for having him on. You guys are the best...GO BILLS!!!

Josh went on shady’s show the facility a couple months back
Thanks Shady. Nice to hear your personal take. Stay well.
Congratulations on the baby Dan!!!!!!
Can't wait to see Milano out there with Benard and Johnson
And Coleman and Kincaid
Wow! Well done Lesean McCoy. I really appreciate that he did not pander to the Buffalo audience when speaking about who will be in the Supperbowl.
I agree. I thought it was an honest answer (and it is all about Andy Reid). McCoy is a loyal person
I agree with you even if I disagree with Shady. Go Bills!!!
Wow when I started watching Jenna,Dan and Mike you all had maybe 10,000 subscribers- now 34,000 😮incredible. Thanks for your service and work.
You guys are really going in a good direction buffalo plus!!!

Crazy how good Bernard and Benford have been immediately. Deff hope both stay in Buffalo for a long time
Can't afford everyone
I remember when Shady came out and said that Josh was gonna be a great player.
That meant something.
Shady is a good dude..
2 years to the day as a sub, you guys rock. GO BILLS
I love and prefer this channel for all things Bills.
Thank you! Spread the word
23:03 so true, nicely said

The more i watch shady talk the more i totally understand his nickname, dude still loves to meat ride the chefs
I love Shady!
Thanks Buffalo Plus. Really enjoyed your interview with Shady😊
LOVE SHADY...... a decent human being... intelligent, articulate and a freak on the field!
Love Shady the player and his personality. Also can never hate on a man for keeping it real.

Shady was the first bills player I loved as a middle schooler watching the bills
I respect Shady’s consistency.
Fish where the fish are … such sage wisdom!
The linebacker was Anthony Barr, a pro bowler
Great show guys. Was a lot of fun to watch.
Buffalo Plus and shady!? 🔥🔥🔥🔥
CONGRATULATIONS on the newest addition to your family Dan!!! 3 and done or gonna try for a boy?
Shady is always gonna have the LOVE of the ##BillsMafia

Shady , he was a farm boy that knows how to work hard and improve himself and the TEAM !
Great show! Loved the insight and congrats Dan on kid #3!
Instant credit to Dan for bringing up “Dak is Ass”

Happy Holidays! Go Bills!
Shady love the snow td in the red jerseys

“No surprise.” 😅. Shady saw it pre-covid.
I love our GM. Great pick! #17
Thanks for watching!
I literally used to call my Dad's hair the peninsula! Credit to Arizona Joe! 😂😂😂
That shady and karlous Williams backfield was so fun
Go Bills!! 🔵🔴🏈🔥💯
Much love ❤️ ❤️❤️
Guess who’s back? 🎶 Back again? 🎶 Shady’s back. Tell a friend.
Shady has defended Josh at every turn. A true Bill
Mike, your silver mane gives you gravitas. Embrace it!

It was 6'4 Barr on the vikings he hurdled his rookie season, but close enough lol
Can you ask him what Acho said in the offseason about windows? I forget what it was
I was going to get to that....
Would it be funny if Josh gets the MVP but 2nd team ALL Pro. This is actually possible.
I expect that to happen. If Burrow continues on this trajectory, he will be 1st team All Pro and honestly should be
Shady was great again. Dan, you have not been more right than when you talk about the moms!
The Bills #17 is clutch.
Mccoy was everyones favorite player before Josh Allen .
Idc shady is a bill for life !!!
I like jenna ❤
Shakir is a faster Cole Beasley. Good in the slot. Good after the catch, crafty, good against zone, stick mover
Hey shady ant gonna bet against Andy Reid but the bills coming there gonna see go bills go
Terrell the man, but Matt Milano will be the leader of the defense as is his due
Jenna colors her hair????😊

James was incredible.. but he did have Manning and Harrison
@BuffaloPlus doesn't take away from how hard he ran n what he did for the passing game.

No.

Lamar Jackson clutch moments.....like PLAYOFFS? Hmmm
LamarRB is the most overrated QB in ball
