He was my favorite “Abba” in drama serial Durr e shahwar, and he is still my favorite Abba in Mere paas tum ho. His dialogues in both the dramas were brilliant.

Who can forgot Mohammed’s Sahib character in Dure Shahwar as a father, such a powerful and an epitome of visionary lines of wisdom delivered in the serial. Unforgettable performance. I used to pause and learn his lines, don’t remember exactly how many times i watched Mohammed’s Sahib character and beautiful delivered lines, and of course Sanam Balouch.

I re-watched Durr-e-Shehwar just to hear Shehwar read out her father's letters. Those words of wisdom narrated by Ahmed Sahab are a lesson for every individual.
I love you Sir Muhammad Ahmed, you are a teacher, an inspiration and an institution. All the things you define in this show are truly learning. You are so much philosophical and a thinker.

It is a treat to hear Ahmed Sahab speak. One feels sorry to know that an exceptional writer of his stature took a break from creating stories. I have always admired him as an actor. However, on watching several telefilms and dramas written by him, I have become an ardent follower of the writer in him. His screenplays have always been extremely crisp and concise, without any unnecessary melodrama or run-of-the-mill plot. Be it Ghoonghat, Khamoshi, Hum Chale Aye, Tanhaiyaan-naye silsilay, Tum Se Kehna Tha, or Tum Hi To Ho, he is a master in weaving characters with complex yet identifiable human emotions. Not to forget, the humor aspect in most of his writings. I re-watched this interview just to hear him share some good words of wisdom. Wish, I could meet him in person! His thoughts on Zindagi being the journey from A to Z will stay with me lifelong. Here’s wishing him good health and happiness.

Such a great writer whose spirit is broken and tormented by 7 churailain . I wish he would write more. His dramas were a class apart. Dareecha, shaista shaista are still fresh in my memory after 10 years. Lovely interview Samina, especially the part where you discussed books and authors. I got so many book recommendations from your discussion.
Omg as always an amazing episode! I was eagerly waiting for part 2 for the first time.Being a new generation kid I wish i was born in that era. I would love to meet him one day and would love to learn so many good things from him which are unfortunately not taught these days so that i can teach those things to my kids too. So deep thoughts.. Enjoyed every bit of the episode. Will definitely try to read the ones that you bith have mentioned. Loved his acting in durr e shawar, tanhaiyan, mere pass tum ho etc etc never missed any one of his shows.

I have been inspired by this artist for so long. I feel it is the blessings of his parents that must be very inspiring people themselves n the name they gave him. Simply love him. I always love his dialogues. They feel to be written for him separately n specially apart from the dialogues for other characters in a play. N yes his interview is so interesting, he can talk n make us listen all day.

Kitnay achay insaan hain , kitni nice acting kartay hain, abhi meray paas tum ho main jab in ke charector ki mot hui, kia zabardast acting thi us akhri seen main rona aa gia dekh ke, isi tarah suno chanda main halka phulka romance wala kirdaar , wah wah , or ab intervew dekh ke pata chala ke utnay hi nice insaan bhi hain . Muhammad Ahmed Sb. I watch very selective dramas but your dramas doraha and dur e shahwar are the ones that I recommend to everyone, specially to young girls who are about to be married. Please do not stop writing, your dramas are an amazing source to keep our kids glued to our tehzeeb here in the west and save our generations from these 7 churails. (I guess tradition and culture are not appropriate translations for tehzeeb)
