You are right about a few of these channels. One guy has been here a year and is charging for consultations. This is from a guy who doesn't speak a word of Thai and lives in BKK. Keep posting your videos, they are always fun to watch.

Yep eaten there, was good, lm bach in Aussie for a while with my Thai wife and son, l think Chaing mai is my favourite thai location, cheers.

I go to get my coffees there often although I haven't been for a while. She is Burmese. Nice lady with a very friend kid who wants to show you her toys and drawings and asks questions....lol

This is about the fifth video she s been in and yes everyone enjoys going there . Such a nice person .
On my last trip to Chiang Mai I went to drink coffee at her shop about 4 times. She is the greatest! On my last full day in CM I went to drink a last coffee and we were talking so much that I forgot to pay for the coffee😂 . It came to my mind when I was back at my hostel in loi kroh soi 3 so immediately I went back to pay. She was surprised that I went back and when we said goodbye she started crying and eventually I started having tears in my eyes too... in Thailand there are many beautiful places but it's people like her that make a trip unforgettable

Great breakfast, hows the smoke (early burning season) its quite where u live, some of the other CM vloggers seem to be where the traffic is busy, some areas are crazy busy.
Little smokey starting light now . Where I live 10k south Hangdong very nice is very quiet as well . Traffic not so bad either .

I get tax advice from a tax accountant not someone who has an opinion and no knowledge.

Your rambling is better then some of the know it all's ex-pats RUclipsrs.I don't know what it is but I see ex-pats crying and complaing about littele things ,the bed is too hard,the road is no good,the Thais are bad drivers,it rains too much,its too Hot etc.etc.

Personally, I'm going to come to Hua Hin in August and stay the 150-160 days and then pack up and move and try another country. I don't want to retire legally in Thailand until this tax issue is resolved for expats. That might mean 1-2 years until it happens. The biggest issue is they specifically state ALL income, they also say the tax brackets are different then the US. This means that I pay say 22 percent taxes, and the dollar amount might kick you to 25 percent taxes, even with the duty agreement, you are responsible for that 3 percent in taxes. Finally, the last piece of info that they posted is I'm responsible on all my taxes going back 10,15,20 years to prove to Thailand that I've paid taxes on it. I can't go back that many years. So bottom line, I'm waiting and watching how things turn out.
Doubt any of thats going to be an issue . But if it was I can see a point .

I sure enjoy your videos as are a great way to see Chiang Mai. I am glad to see you out as is better than setting at home. The coffee lady speaks English very well. In Cebu, Rod has Amaxing Philippines, his videos are similar to yours and also on condos and hotels to rent or buy. About 2 months ago dusk he tried and fell on his left shoulder and destroyed his shoulder. They had to completely rebuild the joint with titanium and start reh in a couple weeks. Infrastructure in Cebu is bad, sidewalks are none existent even on main streets. Chiang Mai is better. I stopped viewing all the expat videos as there content was on stupid guys are on dating Filipinas and they are so much smarter than the regular bear. Even in front of my girlfriend that is 40 that need a 20 something year old. I do not associate with them as they have get to gathers. Rod is in 60s and lives with a Filipina 7 years. Great guy. It is sad to see Rod and yourself down. Why I do not have health issues. Do have an enlarged prostate and examined for cancer in the states. All negative but the urologists just wanted to remove as at 73 I didn't need to be sexually active. I left and on a diet that shrunk it. Doctors love money jobs. Take care yourself and best wishes.
