    This is the 1st I seen of you-all, really fun! You made me laugh more than most travel vloggers, worth subscribing just for that. Love Mea Kompong, been there a few times. There's a closer village up past Doi Suthep with a great veiw, coffee ETC, Kun Chankien, you'd be better hiring a Song Taw (two bench truck) for 5-700 BHT than taking a bike up, heck of a ride. Never been to the floating pagodas (Chedis, in Thai.) My wife has, great place!

    Hey! Awesome video guys! Those drone shots are epic! Did you guys have a permit or license to fly your drone?

    • @TonyOi
      @TonyOi  2 года назад

      Hey funny thing ! I immediately had to land as your not allowed to fly here.. not sure why but you could easily fly from a lower vantage point but I was right at the peak. So I managed to get two drone shots in.
      Dw it just guarded by a local so it’s not a big deal but u could still get the shots u needed

    The pagoda you visited is actually located in Lam-pang province, next to Chiang Mai. You can fly drones, there were many RUclipsrs went there and it's beautiful, unfortunately I'm not strong enough to dig up there. Thanks for sharing awesome video.

    • @TonyOi

      Oh really! there was a guy not letting me fly. Hence I only got one video of it.

    Great vids you make….but got sone serious errors that might affect other travelers.
    The Floating Pagoda’s are NOT in Chiang Mai. They are a 3 1/2 hour car drive away from Chiang Mai, in a province called Lampang. There are rarely tourists there because it’s not in the beaten path for visitors.

    • @TonyOi
      @TonyOi  2 года назад +1

      Generally though it’s done as a day trip from Chaing Mai where people are staying hence why it’s in the thumbnail that’s all

      @@TonyOi you guys got some cojones to do the trip on motorbikes….that is one LONG day! 🤣🤣 I love this temple and always offer to take my out of town guests there (in my truck…with a stay overnight in Lampang Town 😜).

      @@neilc6506 haha funny thing is this was one of our shortest drives ever 😂 we did a drive in Java Indonesia about 2 weeks ago and it was 430km and 10 hours in one day.

    Hi there. Just a friendly FYI for Tony, the word 'baht' is not pronounced like the word 'bat'... the correct way to say baht is 'bawt', with the vowel sounding more like 'aw', as in the english word awesome. Just sayin'...

    Everyone knows these places, you should be asking a long time resident or a local Thai on things to see and do. Young people thing they are the first to discover a country, I have lived in Thailand for 45 years maybe you should seek out some one as me who could give you tips, but the worst thing is you put it out there and you look like PANDERING COLONISTS

    • @TonyOi
      @TonyOi  2 года назад +1

      All you do is say "your a colonist for travelling Thailand and documenting it, and people should be asking me for tips on how to travel thailand cause I lived here for 45 years".
      Well then make content man, don't sit behind your cozy desk and cry that people are doing things you can't.

    Yes, we need God, Jesus if we want to enter heaven after we die.
