Gazing at Mount. Tai 望嶽: the ambition of a young scholar by Du Fu 杜甫

Mountain Tai 泰山 was the most sacred mountain during the time of imperial China. Many poets composed poems about Mount. Tai. Du Fu's Gazing at Mountain Tai 望嶽 is the best known poem among the poems. It expresses a young scholar's political ambition in such a powerful way that it is still cited very often by Chinese people today!
