I would be really happy if you guys decided on making aluminium profile rigs , I'd be your first pre-order customer. Or any other piece for sim racing for that matter, wheels, wheel bases...basically everything. With your customer support and build quality I would not hesitate for a second. I am sure many others feel the same. Fingers crossed you decide on taking a bigger piece of market with more things in your arsenal. Best Regards
Heusinkveld is the best company. I had a V2 handbrake, 3 years after owning it I tried to upgrade the firmware and the button wasn't working to put it in firmware mode. The warranty passed by over 1 year, they sent me a total new one. Take note, mine worked perfect...I just couldn't use smart profiles. I paid nothing in shipping or duty fees and it came to my home in 3 days from Europe to Canada. That is service! No company comes close to these guys with support.
i couldnt agree more. they are literally the best for customer service. its amazing. please never change Neils and the Huesinkveld team.

@@blacknovella Great customer service goes a long way. We had similar experiences over the many years with Heusinkveld products and why still use and recommend them to this day.
probably i had to do same with my heusinkveld sprint pedals, out of the box they had problem with small conector that conects gas pedal to brake pedal, had to do some dyi to make it work :D other than that amazing pedals
I have had a Magshift for nearly a year. Although I do not use it as much as I used to use my other sequential shifters (driving mostly GT cars now so don't need it as much), I've never experienced the sore hand while shifting. Perhaps using it for extended periods, I might? But I don't think you need to grasp the handle, I just use my fingers as a hook and don't really clench my fist over it. Anyway, I think it looks great, it fits nicely on my rig, has a lot of adjustment that actually works properly which is great and feels sturdy and positive while shifting. The price, could be a little bit better, for me. I think it's just a little pricey for what it offers, but HE is a great company and I have had their Pro pedals and old sim shifter, and currently use the V1 handbrake, Ultimate+ pedals and of course the Magshift. Highly recommend the brand and the products are great too.
One potential secondary use of the lever in the software would be as a handbrake. It wouldn’t be an analogue handbrake but if you only had the shifter it could work as a basic substitute if you configure the timing right. I reckon if you set release to be the upshift and you set hold to be handbrake then that works.
secondary functions will be wild for flight sims - bomb bay doors, bomb release, cycling gear/flaps etc. Shame my Aiologs is still so solid I can't justify replacing it.
Secondary button could be a clutch depress or throttle kill for a split second, so in real racing cars when the sequential gear up shifts the throttle is reduced (no fuel or no ignition from spark plugs) it helps with faster slicker shifting. Sim racing probably doesn’t need this but maybe in the future!!!
Mouse scroll wheels often use optical sensors: Some context to provide clarity on the reliability of optical sensors. Anywhere dust can go compressed air can usually follow.
On the note of the grip/discomfort. I feel like they could/maybe should offer different types of molds to swap that center piece out for. Like a version that sticks out farther on either side of center to make it a larger diameter/size to grip. Or maybe a sheath you can drop over it with a bolt to make it round instead of that more rectangular shape. Looks great otherwise!
They're saved to the device. You only need to have SmartControl open when making configuration changes; when you're done, you can close the application.
@@FordEntertainmentGroupFEG ya I’m pretty surprised there’s not more “budget” options, should be a simple bit of kit in theory. That MOZA one just doesn’t sound nice at all unfortunately
I get that it's a high quality product - but that price point makes it an unrealistic consideration for me. I'm clearly not the target audience for this; whilst I AM a Sim Racer, I'm not one who thinks he will get 371EUR of value out of a shifter.
I have the newest Jinx handbrake.. it's so good... I also have the BDH Shifter it's just as good. Wheel is Asetek Invicta and motion is NLR full setup....so proud of my Jinx and the guys that make it
Maybe worth trying again Will, now your channel is bigger. Though I suspect they think the fact they also make them for V8 Supercars speaks for itself, for anyone looking for such a premium niche offering.@@boostedmedia
EUR 371 is exVAT. Why you gotta give me false hope like that :( Normal consumer pricing should include VAT because that's what you pay... Then it's EUR 449 incl VAT.
Will/Tom- Has Nvidia sent you guys a 5090? If they have not they are fools. Seems like a lot of low follower channels got 5090s and I do not understand what process Nvidia is using to distribute these unicorns. If Nvidia did not prioritize this channel I am completely dumbfounded.
Thank you for your honest and detailed review of the MagShift! 🙏🤩
Feel free to send me your products and I'll also review them😂

I just wanted to say you have been a huge inspiration for my sim racing journey so thank you Will
He has also inspired me to spend an irresponsible amount on a rig
best customer service i swear
I love my BDH..... will never change.
That is a sweet shifter. Great functionality.
man i cant even afford to replace my wheelbase that broke, but man does that shifter look SWEEEEET

Heusinkveld stuff are always build to last and an amazing company. I just wish they make a 6 speed shifter as well.
they had a prototype of one for a while but decided not to go to market with it.
@@blacknovellayeah. It sucks they didn’t. I wish they’d make another attempt.

Babe wake up… new Boosted Media review just dropped
Hope you're well, Will
I got this shifter and had no problems with the skin pinching in the handle. I do get why some people dont like the blocky handle tho

Are the button functions saved to the device or does the software need to be running for the additional logic?

are you ever going to review the simgrade R7? its a very unique set of pedals and i may be interested in buying them
when is the fsr2 moza review?
have you reviewed the logitech pro set up?
Yes

Can you connect this shifter to a DD+ and use it for GT7 / PS5?
No. The Fanatec shifter is your only option for that daisy chain connection requirement.

When is the qubic qs-bt1 review coming mate... The world is waiting. Money ready to go lol
You don't need a review for that one. Just buy it. You won't regret it.
I need a sequential shifter for around €200, any suggestions?
Simagic?
Simagic and Moza have nice ones. No way anyone should be paying 400+USD for a sequential shifter.

When I look at this shifter, all I see is the Oktane shifter with buttons.
