she was an unhappy person, people behave in a cheerful way when they interact with friends, female figures as Nolly, who tries to make everyone around her feel nice, they act cheerful, they don’t, so keep an eye when you around your female figures, when they act cheerful, but maybe they listening carefully of every sentence you said

She was our neighbour in Handsworth Wood for 10 years until her death. She was anything but unhappy both her and her mother were delightful kind generous people. I’ll tell you something now. Lovely little home was full of friends, having dinner parties, having a good knee up and generally getting pissed as a note whilst having a bloody good time doing it, she was definitely not lonely, and definitely not sad

The same writer also wrote It's A Sin, A Very English Scandal, the two reboots of Dr. Who, and, amongst other things, Queer as Folk and Casanova. Perhaps one of them may be more to your liking. But none of them are puritanical, I'll give you that.
