In November I volunteer for a basket auction. It’s so much fun. I normally donate either a dog or cat basket with items for dogs and cats.

For the freezer dryer, have you watched Acre Homestead on RUclips? She got her Harvest Right a couple years ago and she's pretty good about explaining the times and everything. There's even a video on how to change the oil in her motor and one about how she changed her 4 slot insert into a 5 slot insert.

Nah it was dry cleaning. I figured it out and said it.
Freeze-drying apples uses frigid temperatures (- 40°F) and strong vacuum suction, extracting 98-99% of the water through sublimation. This process can take an average of 10 hours
Growing up, I always had to help my mom do all the canning and freezing fruit and vegetables and I complained the whole time, now it’s just me and there is no need for me to do bushels of vegetables and fruit canning and freezing anymore, and to tell the truth, I kinda miss doing it. I do on occasion still dehydrate apples, but honestly doing all of that by myself, it takes a while, I could get a friend to come help, but I don’t exactly trust her to eat all the fruit. Besides, when we get to talking we forget what we’re doing end, it probably takes twice as long is doing it by myself.
If I may offer other fruits to freeze dry, do pineapples, bananas, kiwi, & grapes (if you like grapes that is?); also try freeze drying marshmallows. For the shelter, are you accepting any applications for volunteers for next year or what are your main needs from helping hands for the shelter?

I love apples but also have to peel them before I eat them. I love Greg's new coat. I have two of Spirit Hood's hats with ears. I want a coat so bad but they out of my price range unfortunately.
