808s and heartbreaks really changed hip hop
1000%
Kanye is the goat. He literally made an entire genre
Crazy to imagine what would happen if Kanye never existed, no blueprints, no 808s, and no college series
Thanks, T-Pain 😂
Isn’t an 808 a type of beat?
The butterfly effects power scares me, imagine all the talented and amazing people who never got to embrace their talent because one small decision, their own or someone else’s, that sent them down a completely different life path.
Exactly. Scary to think about.
Lil Wayne surviving fromshooting himself is one of the greatest butterfly effects. So many careers and offsprings created from him that it’s crazy
You’re right, I missed that
@@JunePlughow u miss dat goofy🤡but talk about dat bornana geezer whose influence is entirely dead☠️
@@cggc5871 wys 🫃🏾💀💀 punk ahh try to be hard but come off stupid 😶😂😂
@@JunePlugdo a pt. 2 then !
@@cggc5871 get it you don't like dude, but why lie about his influence? a LOT of people put eminem as a influence
That “11” transition was nasty work 💀💀
I WAS SHOOK 💀💀💀 HOW IS NOBODY TALKING ABT THAT
This is genuinely one of the best youtube videos I've ever watched. The way you transition from each event to the other is actually insane
Thank you so much!! 🙏🏽
💯💯💯
Once again, thanks for letting me edit this for you dude! Turned out great!
Of course!! Thank you the great work!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
actually came to comment on how i liked the editing great job man!
nice editing bro
Really good edits
This is my first time visiting this channel so I have no idea what the editing usually looks like but you did great for this one
I expected Kendrick's story about his father and Top Dawg with KFC. I mean It's crazy how if his father got killed we wouldn't have one of the greatest if not the greatest lyricist of all time
“Because if Anthony killed Dougie, top dawg, would be serving life, while I grew up without a father, and died in a gunfight” that will ALWAYS be my favorite k.dot verse.
I love the way you segue from point to point in this video ngl. super satisfying
🙏🏽🙏🏽
It crazy to think how small events like these can really shape a whole genre , I’m an artist myself so I can tell a lot of artists u named even inspired to think those events not happening may have made me not make music
I didn’t know what to expect getting into this video but I gotta say I really enjoyed it. It gave me some insight on the history of HipHop in new ways as I’ve never connected some of these events to others the way you did. like the overall concept of this video.
You & your editor kept it entertaining the whole time.
Props
The transitions from artist to artist is insane
Great video but I feel like most of these aren’t really butterfly affect it’s just a natural progression. To me crazy butterfly affects are based off of a major decision where two outcomes could potentially happen and then that one decision created other outcomes that affected people. But I guess it’s hard to define exactly which ones had direct impacts.
I’d say the 95 source awards and Snoops speech is a good one. Lead to the formation of the Soulquarians, OutKasts best new artist speech, and might’ve even led to the deaths of Biggie and Pac thanks to the tension
Everything about this video is great from the editing, transitions, information, and always keeping the viewer hooked. Definitely got a sub out of me, keep it up man. Also saying Cudi was influenced by 808s is just wrong as he was a big part of actually making that album without him 808s probably isn't close to as influential as it ended up being
Yoooo this video is so well thought out bro. I’ve never seen anyone do a vid quite like this. Keep comin up with those fire ideas.
Thank you!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Wow This hooked me From 1st to Last Second 💯💯💯

Also an interesting fact that Future decided to quit Lean because his fans would try it because of him.
I feel like Juice definitely had an impact on Future deciding to quit as well
And or vice versa

Just found this channel but man is this content interesting. Been months since a RUclipsr intrigued me with their titles alone
This channel got crazy potential
Goat channel concept
Man, 808 did not had an impact on Cudi, he create it with kanye. He was the one who told him to speak more about his feelings in his songs.
super creative video keep them going
your video getting symbolic and esoteric nice
AMAZING video Fam. Just subbed.
Thank you my g ! 🙏🏽
bro you're a great storyteller!!!
Thank you!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Great video man
Watching this in my geography hour. really good video keep it up 🔥
Thank you!! 🙏🏽
You forgot to mention why Billy Ray Cyrus was on the remix of Old Town Road. The country charts are super racist, and so they didn't let him on because he was a solo black rap artist making a country song that was also a rap song. He responded by getting Billy Ray on it so they'd have no choice but to keep him on there- that was god damn BILLY RAY CYRUS, of course they're charting him.
It was an early example of LNX being super clever and aware of the culture, which is what I think made him a superstar above all else.
your channel is gonna explode if you keep making videos like this
🙏🏽🙏🏽
Flawless transitions
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
You goin blow up soon in the new algorithm I feel it
this editing and transitions are tuff
These past few video have been 🔥🔥🔥
I appreciate it!! 🙏🏽
the editing is fire asf
I love how you added the last fact, which I only knew because I read a book a while back on hip hop history (but I didn't finish)
The Big Payback by Dan Chamas
Great doc my g 💪🏾
Thank you!!! 🙏🏽
Brilliant video!
Damn that was like a tv episode, W
Should have talked about Wayne’s butteryfly effect on rap also. Man made drake, influenced a whole generation… 90% of the rappers you mentioned. lol 808&heart break sound was also inspired by Wayne and t-pains use of auto tune esp after he featured on the lollipop remix.
i could watch like a 10 hour video of this bro ts was so funnn
Fire video 🔥🔥🔥
i never hear butterfly effects before, thank you june plug
Of course !!
i miss the old days @@JunePlug
Fire editing
that segway from Trippies song to Pop Smokes death went crazy

Damn i still use a blue snowball mic.
Rest in peace X.
that pop smoke transition was wild.
Editing is 🔥🔥
🙏🏽🙏🏽
k.dot's dad not getting popped by top dawg is one of the greatest butterfly effect
June came a long way since then yrg days
Never forget!!! 🔌
@@JunePlugyou still watch rage?
I remember them doing the blackout scene in The Get Down on Netflix, I honestly wish I was there, it looked fun, exciting, but also dangerous lol
playing 50 cent bullet proof and def jam with my friends led me in discovering rap. dope ass video love the editing and style. keep it up
first time hearing bout the 1977 blackout. been living in New York for 20 plus years.
If you’re gonna mention “miss the rage”, give all the information, they fucked over mario judah, they took out his verse and chorus and left him high and dry. There are ups and downs to the butterfly effect keep that in mind.
Crazy how life is I was born in Mexico and almost died at birth my Dad was playing with a huge band called Banda Macho at the time as well I luckily survived and because of Banda Macho I came to the U.S illegally so life and job opportunities were next to impossible so music is all I had especially when my parents divorced. Who knows if I would of played Guitar at all if it wasn't for all those events
Living example of the butterfly effect 🦋
Damn Banda Macho? Órale
I like the editing
Duckworth. And the entire album of Damn. Perfectly shows what the butterfly effect can make happen.
to add on to the Lil Nas X/Old Town Road song. The song itself sampled a song by Nine Inch Nails and to skip the entire formation of the band. In the late 90's the founder; Trent Reznor became depressed after the death of his grandmother, who pretty much raised him as a child, and started to use drugs and could have OD'ed but managed to survive. The song that LNX sampled is called 34 Ghost IV released in 2008, nearly a decade after he became sober. So the most obvious butterfly effect would be what if Trent Reznor did die due to drugs in the late 90's and never made the song that Lil Nas X would later use to catapult him into stardom.
Bro def gonna hit 100k before the end of the year
Fosho. He’s churning out banger after banger (3 seconds into this one right now and I already know it’s gonna be a hit 😹)
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Great video👍🏼
Thank u !!
this a good ahh video man much respect for the moments of silence for my brothers

That was right on the money
Great video! If you do a part 2, you should talk about Kendrick Lamar's story on his song DUCKWORTH about his dad and Top Dawg
🙏🏽👍🏽
i lowk had no idea what a butterfly effect was until this
thought we were talm bout the travis scott song
💀
my stupid ass thought this video was about travis Scotts butterfly effect💀 but this was about real butterfly effects. still good video tho
great editing
