This was great. I still think the Space Wolves are the most plot armor Astartes of 40K era along with Ultramarines. But this story arc was cool in many ways.
@@skywatcheradept agreed but Logan Grimnar and Ragnar Blackmane have more then enough plot armor to make up for that as seen again in this story. Honestly a Grey Knight Captain should be able to match him easily and he should not be one shooting them or weilding a Chaos weapon like a Grey Knight like its nothing. As well as pissing the Inquisition off consistently with no real repercussions is old.
@@skywatcheradept ya Mephiston has a actual reason now that he is a shard of Sanguinius and a Psyker. However Ragnar Blackmane is ridiculous. No reason other then writer wants him to do something. Necrons have not received this level of underselling like the Orks and seem to not be. The Orks get done dirty alot and I have to say even Calgar and Sicarius get beat and owned by big bads but not Ragnar and Grimnar. It's why I stopped reading their books cause they are not good. Hell even Russ struggles more during the Heresy then these 2. Granted he is fighting stronger enemies but its believable atleast.
@@robbomegavlkafenryka6158 yet they both manage to beat Magnus through plot armor. Even Guilliman needs help as his brother beats him down and its a temporary victory even then. Without the Plot armor Magnus would wreck them, and a whole great company with ease.
@@eichler721 they beat magnus because he was arrogant enough to believe nothing Logan could do could hurt him in spite of wielding a repurposed Deamon blade. The wolves beat Magus by essentially just forcing him to go away, Guilimen had neither the knowledge nor the equipment to do this until the Silent Sisters showed up.
