I am very sorry that he suffered such a terrible loss. I lost my Mom to ovarian cancer. My deepest sympathy Mr. Jones. I will keep you and your beloved wife in my prayers. God bless you. ❤❤

Ain’t it something how death is a huge part of life? Most people go through it not thinking about it until they hear of or experience the loss from the death of others. None of us know what their marriage was like at all. The only thing we know for sure is that they were married for several decades and they never divorced. Outside of that, they kept to themselves. Even when folks over share, no one really knows what’s happening behind closed doors. I’m married now 28+ years and can tell you it’s BOTH nowhere near what I thought it would be, and much better than it could be. And the only so called “secret” to a long marriage is both parties still breathing and don’t divorce. Just some things I learnt in life. Practice on truly loving & choosing yourself first (it’s not easy), then find what makes you happy and share it with the people you love. You can only fix yourself, it will NEVER work with anyone else. Don’t let any specific person be the source of your happiness, people will disappoint you at times just like you will with them. It’s inevitable. You are worthy and imperfectly perfect. And through each phase of your journey that will never change. If others can’t see that for any reason, they don’t deserve your presence or time because life is too darn short. You may know all that, just a reminder. 😉
Nothing worse than seeing long time couples separated by death, it is a pain you watch from the sidelines, but know your words are not enough to heal a broken heart, you cry in silence and put on a a brave face and nod in solidarity. A class act coupe my heart goes out to them .

I’m so sad to hear that she passed away. I had the honor of sitting next to them at a dinner party years ago and both of them couldn’t been more lovely. When she called him Jimmy it was a surprise because he was always the voice of God for me. They told great stories and it was one of those beautiful evenings I’ll never forget. I don’t pay attention to celebrities lives anymore so this is coming is it sad surprise. 😿
