However it seems very sad that some of the contributors to these pages have neither the intelligence or the vocabulary to give a constructive criticism and resort to personal abuse against another human being. think about it, if you had the looks and a bad look like that AND everyone putting you down would you STILL be able to sing that good? i dont think so.
I like her singing but she's not a stage performer. She'll probably win simply because she's so promoted by all forms of media that it's more or less drowned out the competition. I do hope she goes on to a successful career. She's got a perfect voice for CDs and Soundtrack work. And it's not a face thing. She just doesn't have a stage personality. If she did live shows they'd have to spend thousands on props and effects to give her noticable stage presence. It's got nothing to do with looks.

With a voice like that? Are we this desperate for a distraction from our everyday lives and economy? I guess it gives some hope, but blind hope can lead nowhere. Lol or maybe I'm just reading too much into it and need to lighten up? I just hate the mass media frenzy around this "inspiration".
I sing better, but no one rushes to take me to the stage, even though I look also better then her. I think she can't sing especially high notes, she screams them instead of singing them. Low notes are also sound very unclear and even unpleasant. Thus, the range of her voice is very small, and sound is not appealing. You may be angry at me, but I think that it's silly to be angry at the truth.
