Mariner 30hp test

Quick video showing the circa 2004 mariner 30hp in briefly in action.
51 kgs and 30hp makes the engine manageable to handle on and off a boat. Engine is made by tohatsu for mariner. There are 25hp versions which can be made to 30hp easily. by increasing the timing to 25degrees btdc at WOT
Just given it an ultrasonic carb clean and cleaned the fuel filter.
Tested on an Aquarius aqua cat, not the ideal boat for this engine as the leg of the engine scoops up a lot of water spray because the boat is designed for the tohatsu M50d2.
Still it made 33 mph. Engine for sale soon. would be ideal on a rib as it won't spray water up as the hull of a rib would be providing cover for the leg.
