I just experienced same issue. But the black white wires are hard wired in. I simply cut the white wire and put a bit of tape over it. All good! Thanks.

Hi, all good except the final step of removing the black/White cable. Mine went into the motor unit with no release lug. So I just clipped the wire. At least the clicking/buzzing has stopped. I never did fold away the mirror so no loss!

You're a star, cheers mate - just taken the fuse out temporarily until I get a chance to disconnect the wiring in the mirror. Think someone else has said the fuse also controls fan blower, so won't work until fuse is replaced.

Could you tell me the propeller spec/dimensions for this engine? Need to change mine..

Having the same problem with starting my YBR 125 on hot sunny days. Ordering this to hopefully fix the issue. I'm in the UK too and I just want to be out in this lovely weather but the fuel pump not working is a massive buzzkill. Have you had any issues with this pump? Have you tested it out in the heat?

My WR450F actually start ( bit hard little) but on fast throttle , it just shut off . If i do slow throttle it rev good . Am suspecting it is fuel pump as there is no warning signs . And it has good spark , new air filter

Such a specific issue with a specific model of car and I really didn't expect to find anything, but here we are! Thank you for this video, absolutely perfect, will go try this now. Okay, how to get that release clip out? Edit: hold the wire with pliers and pull as you push the black clip inwards towards the centre.

Top man putting this on, my father-in-law’s 2008 Honda Jazz was making a weird whining sound when he was driving and it was from the wing mirror, great tip on removing the mirror! removed the black and white cable connector and alls good, now it doesn’t retract that mirror which he didn’t use anyway so no problem, thank you for doing this video
