These videos from Aston Martin show the professionalism from all the team members. The massive amount of work frrom everyone involved. This car stands out to me as one of the top cars and I just do not understand why the cars are so far down the grid each race. Lance and Sebastian should be on podiums. Same engine as George and Lewis. I was hoping when Seb retired he would stay on with Aston much like Niki Lauda did with Mercedes and drivers support. I know he loves all the Aston Martin crew. I think the stewards and FIA inconsistancy made Sebastian's decision to leave F1 altogether no option.
You know what I love most about these videos is for the people that won’t ever have a chance to work for a F1 team or even a Motorsports team in general it’s cool to be able to live vicariously thru you guys with these videos. It’s such a good perspective that you can see yourself being there, I like the set up of all of this and would love to travel the world and work with a team like this, that would be a crazy year.
These videos do a great job of illustrating just how everyone's part within the team is important and vital to the success of the team as a whole. This is yet another amazing video! Really look forward to watching these when they come out. Seeing Joe setup and operate the Leica optical measuring system to check the cars for ride height and measuring individual components on the car was neat! I can't imagine how much data the team has to compile and analyze for any given race. Seems like everyone is constantly monitoring or checking something. As a fan that supports this team, I am thankful for all the hard work that everyone puts into their jobs for each practice, quali and race. We as fans may not get to see each and every one of you doing your jobs, but that doesn't make us any less grateful for what you all do! Good luck to all of you for the next race in Zandvoort! Now that I've got my V5 shirt delivered, I'll be wearing it on race day as moral support! 🏁🏁LETS GO VETTEL and LETS GO TEAM ASTON MARTIN!!!🏁🏁
Aston Martin has to take advantage of more time in wind tunnel, CFD and simulators to develop the new AMR23 without the problems of the AMR22. Especially now that the behavior of the new ground effect cars is known on the track. They can't make the same mistake they made in 2021 when they battled middling teams for a better place in the constructors' championship, but they detracted from the focus on the AMR22 that ended up being problematic and full of shortcomings.
You should be free to mention the names of the teams you've worked at. Adrian Newey never shies away from telling everyone he worked at Williams and McLaren before joining Redbull.
There are so many roles and responsibilities and jobs within the teams that the average person wouldn't even begin to consider - thank you for sharing even the basics with us!
I scared Vettel at SPA, shouted to him when he was cycling on a roundabout as was trying to get his attention to take a photo with him but it was just very bad timing!
To Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant F1 Team: Please put pressure on the FIA and Formula 1 to do greater measures to curb harassment and addressing more safety concerns such as the flare that was thrown on the track at Zandvoort! Just doing a public service announcement is not enough to stop people from doing this. As a female Formula 1 fan, it concerns me that other women have been treated in a manner that makes them feel uncomfortable, embarassed or violated with some even saying that they would never again go to an F1 race. Since F1 popularity is growing and its demographic is expanding, the FIA and Formula 1 should be doing all they can to help prevent this. This is not an attack on Max Verstappen fans, as I know that not all of his fans are like that and there are obnoxious people in any group.
4:23 really cool seeing what an actual message for the pit crew looks like, but can someone explain what "front wing turn up two turns" mean? It's a kind of adjustment obv but to what purpose?
My educated guess is that the front wing is located at an angle with respect to a certain 0 point of the setup, so 2 turns up means that the front wing angle will be changed by two turns (I don't know numerical value of a "turn" and if the up corresponds to a higher angle or a lower). This adjustment of the front wing angle will help the car to have a better balance of the car. And it will help the car A) have a higher downforce thus less straight line speed but better turn in B) More straight line speed but comprising cornering speed. A or B depends if the turn up means higher or lower angle.

Every individual counts so much to the team.
I don't think soo that Mercedes and Aston has the same engine. Infact Aston Martin, McLaren and Williams have same engine.

"How do f1 teams keep their cars legal?"

These pieces are one of the highlights of the race weekend. Brilliant insight.

The cars may not be there yet… but AM contents always give top team vibes!
Great informative insider learnt so much from this video, the hard work and knowledge that goes into each race.
Fernando is about to come into the team next season. Be ready for the next level of requirement. Go for it, impossible is nothing.
Racing Point is noting that

My goodness you guys do a lot of tiny stuff the technology is amazing
Seb is the only redeeming quality of this team
I hope official F1 youtube would be like this. Have caption immediately. Sometimes struggling to understand techincal language for non native like me
It's weird how similar these engines sound to the 80s turbo v6s

Nice insight. I'd want to have a job like this one day. We keep pushing!
