The law must be implemented everywhere and to everyone. Clubbing, hotels, buying alcohol and tobacco and so on must be banned for under 18. Strict action must be taken. I still see young teenagers (16-18) into a night club, know few underage couples like seriously?? The law is corrupted!
Just because people do not follow the law, does not mean its corrupt. And also the implementation part is for executive.

Don't care about Lamichhane but the same law or approach should apply to the politician also. The discussion should be about why it's applied to selected people.
Law is same for everyone . I dont think any politicians are accused of having sex with a minor .

There is no law for politician and there supporters/contacts. Nirmala pant ko photo ajai pani social media ma bina caution ko public cha but where are criminals??? Poor young lad and his family and that mental trauma for life 😢

If someone has sex at 18 with consent then gets pregnant the couple can't get married legally.

Why do people suggest that the public should not have opinions regarding a social concern? If they are expected to abide by certain rules, they need to openly share their viewpoints (when comfortable) and be open to learning new concepts while recognizing the nuisances behind their own legal system. Court officials should maintain their integrity to interpret the laws regardless of social influence. It's baffling that a lot claim to be unaware of the age of consent!! You suggest that silencing people is a better solution than understanding their viewpoints and educating? 😐

Sandeep Lamicchane has been framed. The very first fact that the so-called victim files a case as minor but the court proving her a ADULT proves that the entire CASE is FABRICATED.
Many questions arises :

1) What was the intent of manipulating the birth certificate ? Why was the need felt to do so ?
2) Did Sandeep dragged her hair and take her to hotel and then raped her ?
3) Heard that the so-called victim has got 3.7 CGPA in 12th Grade. Considering that, she cannot be termed as DUMB.
4) When she claimed that she was raped multiple times in the whole night, why didn't she bang the hotel door even once ?
That would have atleast alarmed the HOTEL STAFF.
5) Even if she claims that she was drugged and raped, but the CCTV footage of hotel room during EXIT shows her happily moving out
with the same guy.
6) Who on earth, would exit from hotel with a SMILY face and with the same guy, the following morning.
I don't believe any SANE girl would do that.
7) If so-called victim had really been raped, why didn't she inform any one in HOSTEL after her return ?
8) Had the incident really happened, everyone in HOSTEL would have come to know and Police F.I.R would have been lodged
immediately. But that didn't happen.
9) Why did it took nearly a month to file an FIR ? Just because, there was some MALICIOUS planning going behind the scene.
All these QUESTIONS lead me to believe that this is a BIG CONSPIRACY to defame Sandeep Lamicchane at international level.
And to curtail his promising CRICKETING CAREER.
Definitely, there's a big machinery involved in this entire episode. The nexus of politicians, shameless NGO's and corrupt judiciary sytem has lead to this one-sided judgement.
