This product is the best! Much more efficient than just using the void under the cabinet to channel air to the vent, cleaner too! So simple and inexpensive for a perfect solution.
My kit just arrived. This was a great find and solution to a very common problem in kitchen and bathroom renovations. The contractor installing my kitchen cabinets had no idea that the cabinet does not meet code for materials allowed for a supply air plenum. He had the 90 degree elbow dumping into the void under the cabinet with a grill in the toe kick. Naturally his response when asked to install the kit was, "I do this all the time." Two wrongs do not make a right however.
my contractor tried to tell me that the air will come out anyway and there will be no efficiency loss i knew he was full of shit ive had to be on him about everything so far hes had to go back and fix the floor, the electrical, and now he wants to half ass this...i swear hes driving me crazy
What if the kitchen sink is installed already? My stuff under the sink get so hot - I can’t store cleaning supplies under there. It doesn’t look like this kit will fit in the vent hole.

real nice, could you extend a floor vent from behind a love seat which is against the wall to come straight up and add a vent to come out above the couch ? And where can I buy this set up ?
ok, my question is, why would someone building a kitchen create a floor vent where cabinets will be installed? All mine are near windows and no where near a wall that would have cabinets
Ruth Taylor my house has floor registers along all walls in living room. i have to have a sectional in the middle of room. I'm going to have to move at least one if i want my couch against wall.
It's not about having a choice or not. It's about why there would already be an air register under the cabinet they pulled out. It doesn't make any sense.
During a remodel when people are on a budget that does not include a bunch more money on running or changing their existing ducting. I just installed on a few days ago and it's not hard or a bad thing.
I just pulled out my old cabinets and saw this. Then the cabinet they placed over it was smaller than the vent. I can't believe building inspectors approved this kind of work.
The kit says it works with a 6 inch supply line out of the floor too. How does that work? It doesn't look like the rectangular head that screws to the floor would work on a 6 inch round duct.
The piece that screws over floor vent is rectangular with semi-circle flanges on either side. This effectively makes it adaptable to both shapes. Hope this helps!
...just ordered, though not sure it will fit under my cabinet---the actual dimensions of the box is not specified?...my toe is 3 1/2" high and the box looks like it may be 4+" high?
THIS THING IS FANTASTIC!! WE USED IT IN OUR HOME ALMOST A YEAR AGO AND IT WORKS GREAT!! SO WORTH IT!
Last week ordered two of these units. What a great find! Quick service, easy to install - a great time saver!
Where to find these kits and how much does it cost?

What’s the minimum depth on the toe kick that this will work on? Thanks
I believe 4 inches. That is what mine needed to be for ToeDuctor brand I got
Where do you order the kit?
Nice job!'
How did you secure that too the floor vent? Only one screw?

OK, that's brilliant.
What size hole do I need to cut in the toe kick area? Will a standard size vent cover fit over it?
Doors on the cabinet are uneven. Nice though.
