Another tip that's worth throwing out there is to CLEAN your stuff before you take pictures of it. This especially applies to shoes, just give the outsole a quick wipe down and check the upper for any dirt or gunk you could take off. If you're selling a shirt or a pair of pants that's been sitting in your closet for months, giving it a quick iron will make it look much nicer. It doesn't take that much effort to make your stuff more presentable and it can result in a lot more interest in your listings as well as considerably higher offers.
You’re right shogun I think I edited out the clip when I mention ironing the clothes first - we typically steam all the garments before. And the big thing has always been show and describe items as accurately as possible. Returns can be a major issue even if you do everything “right” you need to do your best to present the garment professionally and show its actual condition.
Do you do any market research at all? Or just sell whatever you have around or think might sell? I’d like to see what’s trending but I don’t use social media so I have no idea where to start lol
Hmmm I’d look around online for budget templates I made that one myself with some help from friends but ultimately u might have to sit down and create it from scratch just to save urself time moving forward
Hey was curious what format you store your images? Like do you take them raw and keep them like that or what. Whenever I try using lightroom the always turn out like a pixel mosaic haha
I never shot in raw Bc it would just take up waaay too much space on my work computer and everything would get downgraded once I put them on Grailed. I’m not sure what could be creating that weird mosaic effect - is it when ur exporting them? Maybe check the export sendings
Hmmm I’m trying to remember I sold the body and lens a few months back. I think it was the Tamron 17-50mm, it was some type of Tamron telephoto lens tho
nice vid thx! anyone knows how some of the sellers are able to relist an item again with a new price but without losing its current followers? are they able to do it because theyre grailed trusted sellers or is there some trick? thank you!
@@BraveNewWear My sales just stopped altogether. Normally Grailed is consistent and you won't go too long without a sale. But one thing I noticed is that Grailed I think have made " Offers binding". Have you noticed that? Because before if someone sends you an offer and you accept it they didn't have to pay.
it's professional but spending too much time on each items, when you have over 50 or 100 or more clothes to post, you have no time to do it on every item.
Not to sound like a young man asking his mom to spoon feed him, but can you please pretend I am your son and spoon feed me a video on making a sales chart as well as other tools you may use to make your life more efficient?

Where's the part where you buy smelly old Number (Nine) and Undercover jackets on Rakuten and sell them for a $200 markup as ARCHIVAL clothing?

Any tips where to get a similar excel template? Anything I’m trying to set up myself is not convenient 😔

You sound like Peter In Family guy
Grailed have basically shut down( slowed down like a Turtle) since the pandemic.
yeah, I still get messages about the items I have up but I'm basically telling people that I won't be able to send them out until things die down.
