Thanks for a very powerful plugin. I guess I’m still a basic user of UV mapping but I have produced useful results so far.
My ultimate goal is human face UV mapping which saves a lot of memory compared to geometric modelling. I look forward to texture animation for modelling fluids some day.

nice demonstration of sketchuv, even if I use it and master it it's always super pleasant and very informative to follow your tutorials, for unwrap I use roadkill, small software, but sufficient for me, blender is a gas plant that I still have not installed, thank you for your work

Hello, Anyone knows how to cancel or take back one step while doing "Path select tool" ? for example when I'm selecting a chain of edges but mistakenly click onto another edge, how can I undo that step only? I tried to press BackSpace or Ctrl+Z but it canceled the whole selecting process T^T
Folks, in case anyone wonders why his SketchUV does not function properly - you should install it from Extension Warehouse, not from Sketchucation. I have waisted an hour till I got it. Good luck! Thanks for tuts!

I follow the tutorial and try to make the "road" with tube mapping - i press the edge with uv sketchup and right click -> i pick tube mapping and there is an error "unable to perform Tube Mapping". Anyone any ideas?

You can not animate mesh in SketchUp however you can try ClothWorks plugin.

Im new to sketchup, forgive for my silly question.
may i ask some question about Path Selection tools?
at time 6:53
i imitated your scenario, having the chair and fabrics
but i can't follow your flow and select the wanted part properly.
i can create the path by Path selection tools and it changed to a Blue complete line on the model,
and press enter to create the line successfully.
but i just can't select the upper part or low part of the chair as an selection with the blue path as the dividend line
once i select either the top or the low part of the model,
the blue separation line disappeared.
and what i can select becomes a quad triangle with blue dots..
i turn on the shade mode to create the line but i still cant select the separated part.
Is the model we using must be a whole block imported with no lines between?
if yes how i create such block in sketchup?
Is there anything parameter needed to set on the model before creating path?
Something like shaded mode or monochrome mode?
Quad lines setting?
grouping or make component?
i also activate the Toggle the visibility of model on subdivision,
but still cannot select the top or low part and the blue line disappear once i click either part....
at 6:53,
there is an action Alt+Q, i follow it and still can't select the upper part as a whole...

I think you are missing very small edge at the start or at the end.
try again and start and end very carefully (zoom in as much as you can)
if this didn't solve the problem you can send me the model so i can inspect. (find my email in channel's about section)

why would you model cloth in sketchup to import into blender ... ?
They are just using Blender as a UV Editor.
