THIS is how SketchUp should function. There are so many holes in the vanilla software it's a joke. Thankfully there's developers like mind.sight that save Trimble's ass again and again. Massive props to them, shame on Trimble for developing SU at a glacial pace.
@@Mr6499 Hi Stephane. Certainly, let me explain better. SU is my main software, for a variety of reasons (I'm an interior designer). Before SU I had the chance to work with Rhinoceros, which has a number of sensational factory tools, which SU does not natively own. SU needs plugins to perform certain operations (some quite basic, in my opinion): some of these plugins are complicated to use, others require many clicks to activate, etc. Another drawback is SU's navigation system, which is ... annoying, you have to admit. However, I'm not here to open yet another debate on which software is the best. Again, I use SU every day; I just wanted to express my spontaneous opinion about SU. Sorry for my English.
Yeah, same thoughts. Most of this stuff is possible to achieve with free plugins, and honestly, I'm not paying almost a hundred bucks for that little extra functionality. However, I think it's nice to have these things ordered in one big plugin, instead of having to look for many others. If I started my adventure with SketchUp today, I would be happy to use this all-rounder, not having to spend time searching for small tools, scattered across multiple platforms of the internet, and having to set up several on-line accounts just to download a bunch of plugins, and then dealing with bugs and other issues. I spent countless days on it in the past. I hope this plugin will save it a bit for the next generation of "sketchuppers" :P
@@mipe7755 Thanks for your sharing your thoughts! Many will want to keep using free plugins that they are familiar with. That makes perfect sense...but you are correct that this plugin is intended mainly for new sketchuppers that don't want to spend time searching for and downloading small tools from multiple platforms, dealing with bugs, etc. As well, some experienced users may want to simplify their plugin management and future-proof their plugins by getting the lifetime license for SketchPlus
@@mind.sight.studios Sure, that's also a point. Some free plugins may become unusable in the future, if they won't be further maintained by their authors or community. If that happens, I'll consider buying SketchPlus. One must say - it looks very neat, well-organized and intuitive. I think I mostly like the object transform randomization - it's really dope and well-designed!
Not to mention than MindSights listens and responds to customer requests/suggestions and often will do refinements when new versions of SU have new programing features.
We use the plugin "ms physics" for that. Look it up, there are tutorials here in YT. Only works for SU 2018 or below versions tho. Not sure if anybody made an updated plugin compatible with newer versions of SU. As for me, i still use my backup SU2017 just to use that function, then just import the models made to my newer version later.

What a shame Looks like a collection of Curic's free plugins, but ugly clone version. Can't imagine that a famous developer can stole from free plugins and collect them to a paid package.
Almost all curic plugins are paid. A developer is free to implement any feature it wants. This is his interpretation of how a particular function should work.
++ Excellent extension/plugin and a very good intro-video. The interactive interface is intuitive. I'd recommend it to any SU modeler.
Yes mind.sight makes the best UI of any plugin. Look at the UI of profile builder and quantifier pro.
Worth every penny. Finally an extension I will finally always need to use.

I usually work with SU, but there's some very big unsolved limitations. Need too much plugins to works well.
WHich limitations, can you please explain?

@@Rhino3Dtuts 100% facts. without plugins SU is long time dead right now. much respect to plugin developers out there that makes SU relevant.
We need more of this ai content ❤
I could find only smart array of some value as the remaining all added plugins are already available in some other plugin in some form or the other.

Tutorials without voice are pretty much a waste of time.
