You can see how comfortable these guys are with Yoyoka driving the bus. They know they've got nothing to worry about.
@boonco
Yesss! Hence 'Burn'! 😉
It was Yoyoka's cover of this song that lead Drummerworld to add her to their list of the greatest drummers who ever lived when she was only 11.
They are in good company
Yoyoka up there killing it like she's been in the game for 30 years. 🤘 Rock on, little sister.
She's been in the game for 13 years, so that's like a long time for the average drummer, but in a way she's still just getting started, but with the experience of old school pros. Girl started playing when she was 1 1/2. And she's still just a kid. 13 years in the game most signed drummers were pushing 30 or beyond. Yoyoka is pushing into sophomore year in high school this year. The best is way ahead of her.
I think Yoyoka could tour with any band
That's a fact......😊
Except on school nights
@@mooshuguy5141 😂
She could tour with this one!
For once I wasn't only watching Yoyoka. Great band. Great vocals. Still gives me goosebumps everytime I hear her play this.
As Ian Paice said “she hits more hard than me!” Excellent work everyone! 😊
Yaaaaayyy Yoyoka! She is by far the brightest star on that stage. Yoyoka is a Percussion Phenomenon! At the dawn of teendom she singlehandedly conquers Hard Rock as she Storms America. She should require a hanging mirror for aerial view and the video should be taken with a minimum of Samsung Galaxy s20 ultra in 8K 100X digital Zoom so we can at least see her brilliant performance and her beautiful face. More Yayoka! I love Yoyoka More! ❤
When you used to mention the Whiskey, people would say that's where Led Zeppelin, The, Doors, Van Halen, etc played, now they say that's where Yoyoka plays.
Everyone in the band is amazing. The singer killed it, the guitar player was spot on as well. For Yoyo it was a physical set, not easy but she had so much energy I thought the drums would burst!
She can hold her own with anyone, so well versed. Bravo!
No matter how long this song is, when yoyoka plays, you watch and enjoy from start to finish.... everytime!!!
Love that "kid". Paulie's voice is terrific and so too Victor's with the "you know we had no time" bridge.
Solid and tight as can be! YOYOKA revealed on her last livestream she uses Burn as her warm up for practice.
That was probably the best cover of this song I have ever heard!!! The whole band was just amazing! Of course our little YOYO killed it and was flawless as always. She even got big praise from the singer :)
Yngwie.
"That kid" might be one of the best drummers alive. They're lucky to be in your presence!
She is an astounding musician. I think she is in the top 1 % of drummers currently working!
@@chrisegbertky lol
There is no such things... the kid actually get the opportunity to develop her talent in a good environment... diamond will just be a dirt when stay on the ground
Not old enough to order a drink there but truly drum like a pro. Rock on YoYoKa!!
Yoyoka be like: "Dont know who I am huh? Here hold my juicebox and I'll show you"
well, maybe diet soda... LOL

@@KimMoonbmwmooniemake it extra large hehe
In Germany they say when you have to leave the decision to the boss (chief): Chefsache. Yoyoka is Chefsache ♥
I think its time for the Yoyoka's ultimate jam night greatest hits album!!!!!!!
This is a band truly worthy of Yoyoka's talents. And they all work together to give the best of each other. Simply amazing. I'd love to see this whole group do some full sets someday.
And may I also comment on the sound quality - it almost sounds like it came from the board, seriously.
Yoyoka always Kills it, who would of thought a few years ago she would be banging out the beat at the Whisky A Go Go. You go Girl!
I did. I’m surprised she’s not already sitting in sessions….
@@topangus123 I only make the following comment because I don't know how familiar you are with her work, not to be disagreeable. I totally agree, but I would add "more" or "many more" (lol), as technically she has done a number of sessions. These are what I can think of off the top of my head. Using this definition: "A session musician is a musician that is hired to perform in a recording session or a live performance." She has done 18 tracks for the video game "Final Fantasy", commercials or spots for Nike (2), Nissan, Moncler, Roland Drums, Uniglo. Hired to perform at Tom Morello's (Guitarist for Rage Against The Machine) mother's 100th birthday where she performed with actor Jack Black. They use her co-written, original song "Sparkling" as the venue song for the professional soccer team "Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo". Not sure if she was paid for this, but she cut 3 full albums as "Ken Okada Group featuring YOYOKA. And I'm sure others because she would do them and not even tell her most loyal fans....lol. Busy young lady for sure.
@@Glen.Black. I’ve been following her for years, I was just goofing around, I’d been waiting for her to get to the states since she was 7 lol. When I said session player I was thinking along the lines of Glen Campbell and the wrecking crew in terms of virtuosity. 😀
@@topangus123 Cool! Yes, we're all surprised she isn't much more famous by now for sure. Thanks. 😀
Great to see Paulie Z again, one of the OG Yoyoka supporters!👍
Holy mother. That may ....I stress 'may'...have been better performance than Deep Purple themselves. That was a remarkable set of pure musical force. Everyone was at the top of their game and in the zone.
If it was Deep Purple performing this, they would have put it on the live album.
Another flawless performance on drums and Paulie Z is a really great vocalist, glad you were able to hook up with him for a live session.
YOYOKA SOMA you rock, as usual, absolute perfection.
Great performance by everyone on the stage. Loved it.
YOYOKAちゃんと『Burn』 の相性!相変わらず最高ですねー!!
Yesss, the hammer is back in force. As always Yoyoka is confident, powerful and precise for our greatest pleasure. And congratulations to the whole group.
Great song, great band, great vocals, and YOYOKA!!!
"Cleaver wee thing"

Go Yoyoka, you and the band ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yoyoka is one of the best drummers I have ever seen and heard and she is only going get better.
The Z man knows how to rock it
I saw DP at Vorst National in Brussels twice in 1972 and I saw them again in 1973. The band was amazing live, even by the standards at that time. Thanks for the walk down memory lane 👏👏👏👏 Ian was very complimentary on her drumming so that’s high praise 👌🥂
*Yoyoka spreads her wings to the USA.*
Solid! I am glad everyone survived the floods, and can be together to take rock and roll where it is meant to be.
To quote Yoyoka:
"I put on my boots, walked over tons of debris, got out on the street and took an Uber to Whiskey. I played BURN in muddy clothes."
The Soma family had big problems during the floods. They were cut off from the rest of the world for three days. Partially without electricity, and without the possibility to go get food (friends helped). Fortunately, the car and the house were only slightly damaged.
@@pcarhe I was worried. I’m glad everybody survived.
Second home for Yoyo, what a professional!
On fire! ... Way to go everyone. So fine, like wine.
Twas ever thus. What a great high energy number. Great lighting, pretty good sound, , musically superb and, as always, the Hokkaido Hammer drove the bus to the Magic Kingdom!
I suspect that Yoyoka has performed this song more times in the last three years than Ian Paice has! Solid work again!
YOYOKA revealed on her last livestream she uses Burn as her warm up for practice.
@@Rob-Yule And Ian Paice said that some drummers of cover bands can’t play Burn correctly - oops
Awesome job Yoyoka! ❤ The whole band was good.
I can feel the energy all the way to Sweden. What a solid groove!
World class interpretation of the piece
They all seem to express their love for the music and Yoyo makes her drums sing with joy.
"Not your regular 4 on the floor kind of song..." Haha!
A great performance and as usual, Yoyoka nailed it.
OMG! This was so great. My heart is pounding, my hands are sweating and my head feels like it's going to blow up. Thousands of THANK YOUs to Yoyoka and the band. I need to lie down. 😊
Great effort by the band, cooking version. And as always Yoyoka is just awesome.
She is unbelievable. Right on the whole time
They better be paying her more than the other musicians! She truly deserves it!
度重なる PaulieZ とのプレイもしっかり馴染んでいますね。3年前のリモートセッションで聴いたTake Cover での歌の上手さに驚いた事を思い出します。
Wow!......Everyone was awesome....
😃😃😃❤❤❤😃😃😃
Yoyoka, thank you for sharing your musical gigs with us !!
You're 🥁 is amazing as Always !

So great Yoyoka!!! See you Sunday at Redwood bar and grill downtown!
Excellent...well done!
Yoyoka got powerful Fa Jin: an unconscious reaction which flows without a conscious attack through each movement.
Yoyoka up there tearing it up. Great job
Ian gave the nod. I'm good.😎🎸🎸🎸🎸.
YOYOKA.
Indeed, "Give it up for Yoyoka"!!!
Yoyoka is awesome!!! 🐰🥁🐰🥁🐰

Yoyo, these guys are your spirit animals, they bring the fire just like you do! Keep playing with them!
What a great performance by all.
Just perfect!

Amazing performance! Well done by all!
Best bass guitar work I've ever heard.
Pretty damn good for straight out of the box.
Just unbelievable!
this is the dream band prof, PERFECT, YOU CAN NOW HOLD YOUR OWN WITH ANY ONE OUTTHERE JUST ROCK THAT JOINT.
thanks.
Like Glenn Hughes on keyboards, haha! And happy to hear the ride sounding clear.
When Ian Paice tells you how good she is, you gotta listen!! The guitar player isn't too bad either. Just a great mix of musicians altogether.
That was tight!!! 🤘🤘🤘
great!
Wow"..........A+++++ All around
A regular now. YAY!I think she has Burn down pat.
Played it about 300 times now. LOL
YOYOKA revealed on her last livestream she uses Burn as her warm up for practice.
great all-around performance. i know that felt great!
So damn good, singer is unbelievable.
that is the way to rock!
Great Yoyoka.....again
Hammer time!
Great performances by all, it's just too bad the mix wasn't too good... phones have come a long way, so, next challenge: mix onstage music so the viewer can hear all the nuances of this genius drummer's performance 😋
wow ... just wow ... namaste from canada ... r0ck 0n yoyoka ... \m/
You silly thing. Good heavens. Youre just so skilled! Thats a lot of training! Good on you! Keep it up!
the bass player and vocalist are incredible!
Yoyoka! Wow! Among the many great performances I have seen you take part in this is by far the best. I have seen you perform with some great musicians but, for the rock and roll you have played this group of musicians are in your league. Usually, it is one or two musicians who you perform with that are at your level but, not this time. That group you played with are able to hang with you at your level and the result was nothing short of remarkable.
I thought that progressive jazz group you played with also was at your level and those videos were equally awesome. I mean no disrespect to any of the other musicians you have played with over the years but, now you have played with two bands that can play with you and it is awesome what comes out.

Wow, playing at Whiskey? That's a very famous place to play!
Thanks!

That was just so perfectly delivered - absolutely amazing
"Musical equivalent of a math equation"
Reunited with a live Paulie (and Toshi).
Wow!! Playing Burn at Whiskey a GoGo at your age - and rocking it that hard!! Amazing!! すばらしい!! まじすげい‼️
Great job to the whole band!! Awesome!! 🤟🏻🤟🏻
頑張れよよかちゃん!!
Yoyoka Rocks🤘😜🤘
Push over I’m drivin , rock on YoyoKa🎉
There is a famous drummer who has played Burn live several times recently - Chad Smith. With Glenn Hughes and Joe Bonamassa, a very top line-up. And they've been playing (and practicing) together for years, in various projects.
If you compare their performances, it's an easy win for Yoyoka. She just blows away Chad. She hits harder, faster and clearer, with much more variations in the fills...
Interestingly, Glenn Hughes is a member of the supergroup Black Country Communion. So is Jason Bonham. And it's the same story - Yoyoka is better than Jason (both playing Burn or LZ songs).
When you watch comparisons like these you can truly see how really good Yoyoka is.
Suggestion: Compare Nandi Bushell's version of Fortysix and two with Yoyoka's.
After hearing Nandi, I thought: "Good! Really good!" After Yoyoka I thought: "INCREDIBLE!" ....I continue to think that after the X's watch.
Listen with good sound quality...
It starts with the appropriate drumset for the task...
The 'Thunder' about 2/3 into Fortysix+2 of Yoyoka leaves me shaking my head every time.
She really is a once-in-a-century talent. Real deal, no exaggeration, signed and certified.
凄い!👍の、一言😮
いいね🔥🔥
Wish they could find a way to mic those monster drum rolls like they do in her solo cover. All gets lost in the shuffle, especially in this song where they're all covered by vocals of similar pitch.
yesss Yoyoka you rock !!
i would love to see you play with THE WARNING
they rock too
Yoyoka could play Burn in her sleep
ありがとうございます!
