Got the chance to use a lift a few months back and it was a dream! I'm sold on the big cages rather than the bucket style simply because it allows you a little room to walk around and stow some gear. Take up a bucket of gear, and you have a ready-made seat just waiting for when you want to take a short break and plan the next move. For as economical as they are to rent, I'll use a lift every single time.

I hate the big cages, don’t like being able to see down between my feet!

Nice video Jake. One of the tree services I work with has the 90’ model of that spider. They are amazing machines!

It’s pretty sweet, not exactly how I’d choose to lay out the hinge/telescoping points but it works great.

Diy , wah enak banget pakai alat berat seperti itu, sangat membntu memudahkan saat menebang pohon yang sulit ,
Di indonesia belum ada , jadi harus manual kalau kami.

Yup, cut through my hinge on the back side by accident so it wanted to spin off. Coupled with the side pull of the rigging line that pieces didn’t go as planned to say the least 😂

I dont know how much they cost but would it be worth buying your own instead of renting one every time you need a chipper or does it make more sence renting one when you need one

9:01 reveals you are amateurs. I would do almost all the work you did with NO rigging/lowering. That is advanced tree work. Don't tie up the groundies. Quit saying "crispie".
