Problem is that too many parts are shared among the Fossilizers... They retool to make the Dino modes work... But ultimately the limbs and torsos tend to have the same basic structure.
He looks amazing! I love the Fossilizers and thank goodness they happened. If they were in one of the cartoons or comics it would just take it next level, putting them together was a blast. This is what toys and fun are about guys. I know its not for everyone but it's also about what you do with your collection! there are tutorials on how to combine them.

Oh and there is a way to solve the hand issue for masterdominus those two small looking upper biceps for his mastodon mode are also used for as claw pieces or thumbs in a sense, You'll probably see what i mean if you plug them in those two arm ports that are static. Edit: also Verticbreak and Dracodon are the only two known fossilizers that can transform without the need for parts forming (aside from their tail weapons).
Floor Polish and nail polish always help - especially these days when it's less often that you can just tighten a screw to make something work better. Most versions of the Triceratops/Styracosaurus mold I had to add a layer of nail polish to the front beast limb cups to stop the legs falling off & Floor polish to the ankle rockers usually too.. I don't consider it a huge flaw so long as it's an easy fix.
@@chefatron It can help with the odd figure with wobbly hips too - I hate it when you get a figure so loose the legs rag doll around when you shake it. To be honest these days It's a huge surprise if I need to do nothing at all to a modern Transformer of that sort. Some times I think it is a little unfair to the young children - thinking of Terrorsaur for example his hex ports were so loose his for arm spike just fell right out of the holes - if that was a normal consumer they'd have no idea. It kinda reminds me of when I used to collect Iron Man figures that require some steam or hot water on the shoulder or arms to unstick the joints from new - you just know a lot of kids would be sheering the arms clean off because of that issue.

@@chefatron You collect a broader range of Hasbro products than I do - have you seen the plastic discolouration issue present n Transformers the last 3 or 4 years or so present anywhere else in Hasbro's product range too ?
Masterdominus is an homage of mastodon dino zord from mighty morphin power rangers, even number 93 on leadfoot's formula 1 bumper leads to hint when mmpr was aired.
I wonder if a Giant Ground Sloth Fossilizer could be made. It might never happen but it’s good to imagine. Maybe a Dimetrodon could be a good candidate as well since it could share spindles sail and paleotrex legs. I guess same treatment as Master Dominus.
In my opinion fossilizers in general are miss rather than hit. But that's Hasbro, acting like short attention span kid, abandoning ideas in favor newer, not always better ideas (weaponizers were much better in my opinion), changing the course by 180 degree (it didn't take long for them to toss whole "unified scale" idea straight out though window). One has to get used to it or has to change his/her hobbies :).

Nah, just not "feeling" the Fossilizers. I'll probably sell these off, if I ever manage to get these Wreckers sets. 'S funny -- when I lived near Kent State University's Stark Campus, they used to have a mastodon skeleton on display, but they got rid of it at some point, decades ago.
I think they absolutely suck. They look stupid alone in robot mode and even stupider attached to a normal Transformer. They're completely out of place in the line and I have no idea why anyone would want one.

I'm really looking forward to this Fossilizer, since it is the first mammal fossil, and as far as I know, Masterdominus is only the second Transformers character to have a "woolly mammoth" for a beast mode, the first being Big Convoy from Beast Wars Neo. Keep on being amazing.
