Riding the World’s Lowest Train Class in Bangladesh

- This video is the opposite of first class train travel. I hope you're ready for a different ride. This is a train tour of a standing class (let's call it 4th class) ticket. I'm just happy I didn't ride this one overnight.
Trains in Bangladesh can be crazy. It’s the most densely populated country in the world, and during times of celebration, the public transport system can't handle it. When millions of people flood the trains to leave, or return to Dhaka, many ride on top or on the sides when tickets are not available.
We’re in Bangladesh during the time of a local festival, and try and see if we can join the locals for this wild train ride.

We are foreigners in Bangladesh. We live full time here. And trust me we know the feeling of being stared in every place we go. They always ask if we can speak Bangla? (Which we can). And sometimes they ask many personal questions which is quite uncomfortable sometimes. But after all it's a wonderful country and I LOVE BANGLADESH.
You think It's personal question..
Beacuse you are from western culture..
But in Bangladesh it is a formality and friendly behaviour.
Bangladesh is an economically lower country cause of corruption..
But they has strongest Cultural.
British and Pakistani colonial destroyed it.
Now Malaysia is a rich country..
It is a Matter of sorrow that once Bangladesh helped them economically.

I have spent my life yearning to travel this earth while I am here this time. I'm 66 and raising my two grandsons .. At this point I will be staying close to home but my reward for having them is priceless and I really thank God for them. I look at a lot of videos on the Tube but never have I found one that so touched on how I might have been in another life story. Looking thru your video library was like looking thru thru the window at a candy store for a boy. Except this time I will taste all the flavors on offer. Bangladesh is a country where you can never suffer from dispersion. Every people in there are very friendly. Everywhere you will get friends and relatives in Bangladesh. So Bangladesh is the best option for you who want happiness, not money. I feel proud of my country Bangladesh.

I found the lowest class to be the best class. Where on Earth you will get this experience?
The thrill, the excitement and the life time experience must be the driving factor why you do what you do. As if as though you are challenging and testing your body and mind how far it can take you. Riding in front of the train is risky and yet you seem to enjoy doing it. It was an intense sight for me. Title of your channel fits your personality well - Fearless & Far. How about adding the word "Intrepid or daring" too? Watching you doing your stunt is making me uneasy, fidgeted and nervous, feeling worrisome what might happen before reaching your destination - being thrown out from the platform you're standing. Thank God, you arrived safe and sound! It looked as though the people in Bangladesh/train station saw for the first time in their lives "foreigner". You became the center of their attention. Or, should I say, APPLE of their EYES? One of the many things I noticed is that you seem to get along well. You fit right in without any sign of reservation, talking to people casually which is a good tool when you're a traveler or adventurer. I hope the train's horn did not damaged your eardrum. On the other thought, adventuring can be an excellent teacher despite the unknown risks that goes with it. It teaches us or some of us more than what we can learn from books. Be careful now Mike. I hope to see the 10,000 bananas you're going to distribute to the kids.

In New York, last year, 7 died- those who allegedly rode between subway cars. I wonder, but I hope there are no injuries or fatalities in India... I'm Filipino, I thought we are notorious when it comes to things like these- some Pinoys ride on top of trucks and buses in the provinces.

riding on top of the train is dangerous but extremely fun thing to do.
i took the train to my college for one and a half year. i was always riding on top. the wind, the movement of the train is very exciting.
