I glossed over it whenever I got to it for decades, the original Gentle Giant version was too "Whitney Houston" for me. The bridge sections in the original are spectacular, but too much of a contrast with the "Soul-pop" feel of the rest. It was too pop sounding to my liking.
The way Egentligen Giant however does this iin a more consistent way, and it became extremely nice.
That is why good compositions must sometimes be played and straightened out by cover artists. This is a good example and I now have more respect for the composition, which is a win for Gentle Giant as I now listen to the original after hearing this excellent rendition.

I was JUST looking specifically for covers of this exact song about two weeks ago and couldn't find much. Today I get recommended this video. I have many bad things to say about the algorithms and video recommendation nowadays, but this isn't one of them. I might not have looked that up ever again, so I would have missed out entirely on this.
