The more you go through life, you'll come to realise that the most sincerest people with you are your parents. Nobody wants the best for you more than your Mum and Dad
How many times do we talk back to them? Disrepect them and treat them worse than strangers
I say that because we find it so difficult to apologise to our parents, share our feelings with them and tell them how much we love them. Yet sometimes thats all they want to hear from us.
But remember, a day will come when saying sorry or saying I love you will be too late.

O my sisters and brothers in Islam. If you still have your parents you are way richer than I am by billions of times. If I were you I would kiss their feet every single day of my life.😭 trust I know the pain of losing both of my most beautiful angles. I would give my life a billion times just to be in your place and kiss and hug my parents just one more time.😭😭😭😭
    Love you all from Afghanistan.

Also to all the parents : respect your children, because one day you'll need them taking care of you like you did for them. What Allah gives you, he can also take it back. When your child becomes an adult and you are still pointing them with your finger and victimizing yourself for their behaviour, please : question yourself.
Question yourself about the love you give to this world and especially to your siblings, instead of questioning about how hard you hold onto controlling them.
Because one day, your son/daughter will chose his/her family, and also decide if you can be part of it.
    So your behaviour counts too.

So his companions looked at him. He said, ‘It appears that you disapprove of it.’ Then he said, ‘I will never show apprehension to anyone with regards to this. His wonderful car drives. I miss both of them.
    ~*~
Delivering their food as they reached old age,
Washing their clothes when I could - I miss that too.
I miss obeying them whilst they were alive,
Exchanging hugs, and telling them, “I love you.”
    ~*~
Allah took them by His Mercy, they’re gone now
But in my thoughts and Du’as they’ll always stay.
To continue loving them: I’ll share their words,
Fast often on their behalf for Allah’s sake,
    ~*~
Do charity, when I can, on their behalf,
And treat well their relatives and friends they love.
Always I’ll supplicate for my dear parents
‘Till we meet again, next to Allah above.
    ~*~
I’ve learned how to sympathize with orphans more,
Ever since my loving parents passed away.
Tears of various feelings flow more than before,
With Allah’s Kindness, to have all sins erased.
    ~*~
Why do most good people struggle? One might ask.
One must take note that life is all kinds of tests.
Some problems train patience, others teach lessons,
And most lead to repentance or humbleness.
    ~*~
True peace and happiness are found in Heaven,
For Allah’s friends who worship Him sincerely.
Be with those whom Allah loves. Stick to Islam,
Though the believers may not be that many.
    ~*~
To those whose folks are living - you're fortunate,
And those left with one parent, you are blessed too.
Take care of them, help them do good deeds, give them
More love, before Allah Wills that they leave you.
    ~*~
May Allah Almighty forgive all our sins,
Accept all our good deeds, and reunite us -
May Allah unite us with our loved ones in
Jannatul Firdaus, amongst friends Allah loves.
    Ameen.

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “Verily, Allah the Almighty will raise the status of His righteous servants in Paradise and they will say: 'O Lord (Allah), what is this?' Allah will say: 'This is due to your child seeking forgiveness for you.'"

It is quite sad to see Omar enter a room where his dad is sitting without even greeting him. Of course, he has no way of knowing that he'll never see him alive (again) in this life. Also, when his father asks him whether he asked his mom's permission before leaving to stay with a friend for 2 days, Omar's response is that he "told" her. May Allah (swt) help the believers to treat their parents with compassion and regard. Ameen.

Only parents have rights to be fulfilled! Kids have no right? Why do they all the time are force to believe that you are wrong and parents are right whatever the matter comes.

Yes, youngsters today don't do justice to the rights of parents...but Wallahi so many parents have neglected the upbringing of their children. They didn't raise their children to respect them when they are old. Most of it boils down to parents lack of involvement and understanding of their child. So many parents don't encourage pupils from a young age, so what do you expect?

While this is a good sketch of what actually happens in some homes....my question is why was the father so soft with his son? As a mother he would never have been able to speak to me or his dad that way.." Chill, and leaving for a week" WITHOUT asking for his mum or dads permission..He would have been sweeping the yard instead of the father. As much as the son is wrong, the clip shows the root of the problem starts with the parents and how they raised him. Softness and love is my default mode with my child but ANY disrespect, I nip in the bud.She is 6 now but ever since she could babble I modeled polite and good behaviour. I model tone of voice when speaking and I help her with the appropriate vocabulary to express joy, frustration, anger, disappointment etc. There are many ways to discipline your child without hitting. Google is a parents friend. Parents you will be questioned by Allah on how you raised your children. Invest in their character development, not just their material needs. Our beloved Nabi was a model of excellent behavior and character.A good character is a gift that keeps on giving.your child's relationships in the future will be enhanced through good character.Society will praise and recognize instantly the good in your children. You will be proud of your children if you balance love and discipline. The greatest reward will be when they treat you with dignity, love, respect and reverence in your old age. This treatment starts with your investment in their formative and young years.Bend the tree when it's young, and it will grow straight and bear sweet fruits. But it's a tough job at the beginning and many parents just don't make the time to constantly monitor ,challenge and correct the behavior of their child.
