OMG l only just saw this, 11 days since posted !! Great hikes up those hills Paul, even if a wee bit hot. Amazing. Now to watch the Mighty Slioch. The last of this fabulas adventure.......Alioban ❤
Hot Hot Hot Ali! I was like a wee melted puddle of stuff lying by the side of the road!!! great fun though....Hope you enjoy the mighty Slioch!!!! Paulo
Cracking couple of days out on the hills Paul. You absolutely nailed the weather mate, although it clearly punished you - you looked absolutely burst! Hardly surprising in that heat. You persevered and pushed on though, a testament to your determination, and the main thing was you had a massive smile on your face at the end and that's all that matters. I can't believe you've only got one left, it didn't seem that long ago you were telling me you were up to 200 - how time (and you) flies! I hope you enjoy your final Munro as much as I've enjoyed your epic journey. Have a blast, and a wee nip on 282 👍😁🏔
Thanks so much Ron! What a stunning day eh and what a place to be with views like those. It was tough in the heat and I was feeling it a bit but after a wee rest and some water it was all systems go! to be honest this has came around fast! a few big days recently and here I am knocking on the door. Kinda surreal and not sure I thought I would get here! The hip flask is packed and wee paddy is sitting by the door!!! Paul.
Good going Paul, well done. Those flies in the cairns are a nuisance. Cracking weather for the trip though, certainly beats most the cloud we've had this summer.
Paul, since meeting you and your friends out walking as I returned from Mark Cottage bothy, I have followed your Munro journey. I can see you've made many friendships on the hills and it's been lovely to watch, even more so when your wife and wee Paddy join you. I bumped into you and Murchie at the Beluga Lagoon gig and had a blether about your last few Munros. I broke my ankle on a Corbett a week or so later so hills have been off the menu for me. Anyway I just want to say that it's been a pleasure watching your Munro journey and all the very best for Slioch. I doubt that will be the end of your mountain adventures but you'll have the 282 behind you. What an achievement!
Leanne, thank you so much for your message. Its been an amazing journey over the last five years and to be honest one of the highlights has been the folk I have met along the way! some have been passing conversations and some have developed into amazing friendships which I absolutely cherish! you wouldn't think that from a simple hobby like walking! quite humbling actually. Sorry to hear about your ankle! that's a sore one but I bet its even more sore being kept away from the hills! Thanks again and hope your out tramping them mountains soon! Paul, paddy and Abi!
Outstanding as always Paul. Bittersweet that your journey is nearly over. Think you have passed on the bagging disease to me and several of my walking partners as we've all been avoiding the investable after nearly 40 years of hillwalking😂 cheers and all the best for Slioch.
I was the same Neil, been walking since a teenager and never caught the munro bug until 5 years ago! since then its been a big focus and its hard to shake! I think I am looking forward to a more relaxed approach to getting out after this though....No big drives for a while at least! thanks again mate and hope you keeping on bagging! Paul.
Well done Paul. You got great weather for this, albeit probably a bit too hot. Deffo not a POC. LOL i now know what that means after today. Good luck on your final Munro and hope this is another fine day. Cheers and ATB. Andrew 👍
Cheers Andrew! I often find that even the easy ones are not a POC! LOL. Fingers crossed that the weather forecast is right and I have a fine sunny day! albeit not to hot...Double buttered rolls and empire biscuits in hand! Thanks mate. Paul.
That was great mate but looked absolutely tiring in that heat 🥵 so glad you good the weather for them as there a cracking walk. That last one looked like you just wanted to drop at the cairn 😅 but it's just down to the one now mate and the weather is looking good for it 👍 great wee day out yesterday nice and easy compared to the 😂. ATB ALLY 👍 😀
Cheers Ally! an absolutely cracking day and one that I will remember for a very long time! tough going in the heat but absolutely stunning. Hoping its a wee bit cooler but happy to be out in the sun for the last one! cheers mate! Paulo...
Well done Paul, you were working hard to get these bad boys in the bag, Munro fever has set in! No wonder you’re burst! You will certainly be a favourite for the ‘hat of the year’ award. Great stuff, thank you very much. The Mighty Slioch to go!
Thanks Andy! yeah the heat had me a bit dizzy up there! I couldn't make my mind up if it was better with the buff, the hat or both! it was sweltering! lol. Looking forward to Slioch! hopefully in nice weather again! but not so hot me thinks....LOL. thanks mate, Paul.
Well done Paul. Both those days looked hard work but you were rewarded with cracking views. Unfortunately you then have to deal with the heat and flies. 1 to go, and the journey is donè, but plenty of other things for you to do. ATB Andy
Thanks Andy! yeah it was hot! but as you say the views and conditions were just beautiful! so lucky to finish my wee adventure on days like these......What next????

You know Tam it wasn't too difficult but the heat really sapped my energy. It was such a relief to sit down after the third one and get my breath back then I looked at all the climbing on the way back and I was not looking forward to it!! made it in the end though...Cheers mate. Paul.
Tough couple of days in the heat but what a brilliant watch. That's some achievement with one to go for you. Thoroughly enjoyed every second of your videos so thanks for sharing your journey and look forward to the next one. " The midges are oot, fantastic," said no one ever till now 😂 Love it. Take care. Mick.
Thank you so much, Mick! It really means a lot to hear that you enjoyed the videos, especially after some tough days out there in the heat! 😊 Your support makes it all worthwhile, and I'm excited to tackle Slioch, hopefully in the coming days! Haha, you're absolutely right about the midges - can’t believe I’ve found a way to “appreciate” them too! 😂 Thanks again for watching and for the kind words. Paul...👣🌲
Absolutely stunning Paul. Really enjoyed watching that. Can't believe 1 more to go. The Mighty Slioch. Hopefully you get better views than I did. I do want to do that mountain again 1 day for the views. It felt it was a cracking walk. Good luck to you and can't wait to see it. ATVB Alan

Thanks Tom. I was exhausted! the heat really saps the energy and I was feeling it...Much better than the rain of course and still an amazing walk...Totally mixed feelings about finishing? excitement and trepidation mixed with a wee feeling of loss too. Well done with these two hot days. I also did your first three on one day and they are tiring even in not so hot weather. One to go. Thanks for the video.
Great video Paul. Nice to "revisit" my favourite place in Scotland. On my last trip in May I was just up in that area beyond the wee Power Station, but didn't bag any hills on the day. I was wondering why you missed one of the four Mullardoch Munros. Will just have to look back through you videos and see. Anyway good luck on your compleation, long way for me yet as I've only bagged 10. Started quite late in life last year at 67 but now I'm hooked. ATB Karl from Denmark
Thanks very much Karl! yeah I have a wee video of the past trips, time and weather beat us...Its an amazing place and I wish I had known I could drive all the way up! the cycle was tough....Good luck on your future munro trips!! I would love to visit Norway! Paul.
@@PAADVENTURES1 Aye not many know about the opening times in the glen. Tuesday is always closed all day and wednesday half the day.
