I seriously don't understand why some of these comments are so angry... Everyone's experiences with their newborns are different. She's walking you through her routine. Her baby is 6 weeks old. She mentions that multiple times. Its not like she's this calm and collected 2 days after delivery. Seriously stop the mom shaming 😒

I watched this video while I was pregnant because I wanted to know what my life would look like once the baby arrived. It was NO-THING like this. I'm not mad. I just hope any other mom to be's out there who happen to read this don't get false expectations. I'm so happy her postpartum life seemed so easy breezy and peaceful. But if yours is not and it's chaotic, sleepless, and the most intense emotions of your life that's normal and you're doing just fine. Don't worry.

I’m so glad to see you did Post pregnancy routine. I did that 25 years ago back in 1996, and with my following kids, it saved my sanity. Routine and consistency was the best and still is! Great video for new parents!

I think I may do this as a blog post soon- my top 5 or 10 favorites. Right now almost everything I listen to is baby related though... Yes I use audible for my books I have a subscription also I use overdrive (you can get audiobooks for free)

And on the topic of diapers have you considered the cloth diapers? I highly recommend them! For my baby I used specificaly FuzziBunz but there area a lot of other great brands. They are not only helthier for the baby but great for the enviroment. They do take a wile to get used to but the pros are totaly wort it.

Depending on the type of carrier you can get a newborn insert which places the legs in the right position too. That way you can use the same carrier. My baby hated the sling carrier so a newborn insert in our Tula carrier was a life saver
Ha HahahHa omg I wish I was able to get even HALF of these things done. Most days I can’t put my daughter down enough to microwave oatmeal for 60 seconds let alone sit down and eat it...

he was not easy at first!! He had bad gas issues that were causing him to be extremely fussy the first month. I thankfully figured out how to help him and now he's happy and chill!

You're so lucky you have comfortable environment. My first baby lived in a broken family. I got divorced with my husband just a month after I gave birth so my baby lived with me and my parents. Unfortunately my parents had bad temper and so easily angry at any small things. I suffered from depression at the time and my parents kept angry at anything and often got fight over nothing. In that stress situation, my baby kept crying and our lifes were like hell. Now I know that the environment and the emotion affect baby so much, so I learn to keep calm. He's 6 years old now and I give him the love I couldn't give when he was a baby as long as I can. He deserves love and attention he didn't get. I won't do that mistake again with my soon to be baby from my second marriage. I have to give her loves and cares.
