You have the spirit my friend. If you can feel yourself in the driversseat and get pumped, you should spend about 2000 bucks in rallycross and you are good to go. It's impossible to get more fun on earth for less money on a regular basis.

when there was a group b mechanics had to pick and clean fingertips and blood from the cars ppl would stick their hands out to touch them in the old days ! I was told this by an old works WRC mechanic , the Portuguese got it banned and basically helped cause the retirement of Audi and the eventual ban of group b ! They would block the street and move as the car passed u til some deaths with drivers and spectators alike
They the spectators ruined the sport group b car were not as fast as the time the WRC’s put down today

The clip at 4:01 is probably one of the greatest motorsport clips I've ever seen.
Car going by at blistering speed on a dirt road, while taking a jump while you can hear the engine buzzing at the rev limiter while the car hangs in the air, all while spectators are hanging out and cheering them on.

I almost feel that since the 2017 season with the increased limit of power and extra aero, we are almost living in a new era of Group B. Nothing will ever top Group B but this is relatively close in my eyes.

I agree. F1 drivers may be quick, but rally drivers have to be good at drifting, have a 110% concentration capability, be super precise with steering inputs and have fucking massive balls

They are usually limited to such speed electronically or by their gearing :)
R5 cars are limited to around 200 kph (125mph)
but it is hard to tell if this was R5 group or something else

i can agree on nascar, but f1 requires skill
Rally is cooler to watch but f1 also requires high skills drivers have to be physically and mentally strong to do 70 laps i think experiencing +3gs every single lap but rally too is tiresome but multitask is essential in rally also everything is quick and unpredictable u don't know the stage like in circuit racing and driving at night is the most skill requiring part in rally and that what makes it the coolest motorsport
F1 Requires skill yes but rally needs more, because road is not always asphalt or wet asphalt,in wrc you have snow,mud,water,ice,granite whatever all the roads in world.
@Saikat Patra NASCAR requires endurance. How long can you keep the same place while driving in a circle without losing control or crashing into another driver?
