He refused to get baited into a deeper dive about how he felt about the politics of it, when he was questioned about JD's rise in politics. He seemed to like JD, but again, I think Ron doesn't base his feelings on politics per se.

The story was okay, to me didn't warrant a movie. The acting in the movie was amazing, particularly Glenn and Amy putting in masterful performances, and the rest of the cast doing quite well. Ron Howard as usual did a very good job. So again to me it's just the story, it's kind of interesting? More than my life, sure. But a movie?

I'm 55 now and very successful, a grandparent of four, living in a big beautiful house next to a golf course with my wife and dogs, loving life. You could not PAY me to watch a movie of my life directed by Ron Howard and acted out by A listers. JD's story is slightly more interesting than mine, IMO. They did a VERY good job with the story they had. I liked getting an insight into who might be our next VP. But I can't say it was a great movie. It was okay, thanks to Ron, Meryl and Amy for the most part.
