WiFi repeater is not made to boost your speed or even match your main modem speed(only the best ones will get close) their more for increasing the range I.e places where your signal is not all that great.

Yes, that’s what I was testing. It was just to see if the speed would change because my room is a place where the signal is not all that great.

I bought the same one as the first extender, and it successfully extended my wifi range because in the past, my wifi wasn't reaching my room, so I bought a wifi extender
And it's meant to extend the wifi radius, not boost the speed

Plug the repeater near your router with a cable in ap mode. Once the setup is done you can unplug the repeater and move it somewhere else with weak signal and plug the repeater near your pc with a cable adapter.

Not quite. The second extender he used can be used as either a WiFi extender or a WiFi access point. You can choose this during setup. However, you do need to run an ethernet cable from your router to the access point for this to work. This is how I have mine set up in my garage, as the signal was almost none existant to use the normal repeater function. Works fine for what I want. 😊

Try to put it in the middle between your room and the source of the wifi or wifi router.. i used a wifi repeater because im far to the wifi router i uses it not to boost my wifi but to extend the signal and reached my room

Get a different router that uses wifi 6e, it will be much faster, you can connect it to your existing router. It should provide much faster speeds than a repeater will. Make sure your computer has wifi 6e compatibility though, if it does not, you can buy a cheap wifi 6 USB adapter online.

i think you have to get a faster wifi service. the repeaters are not going to give you faster speed just extend the range if you are only getting 1 bar in a certain room it should give you a better connection. to properly test those repeaters you should do another video in a room that the wifi signal is really weak, or walk with your phone out in the yard and see if you can walk further and still get wifi on the side of the house the repeater is plugged into.
